Crimson

"Genetic Mutations"

Crimson is the most recent descendent in a long line of black cats with psychic abilities. The trait they are born with is known as the "Sight of Death." Those born with this ability will have physical genetic mutations, commonly a second pair of eyes atop their foreheads and a second tail. It is currently unknown why or how such physical mutations occur... although those born with these traits are known to have the power to see into the future and see and chat with spirits of those who have long since passed on.

"Sight of Death"

Considered a gift to some, and a curse to others. This ability is only granted to those born with a second pair of eyes. This power allows the user to peer into the future of someone who has extreme anguish in their hearts.  While the "Sight of Death" could be considered a means of fortune telling for the one requesting the reading... it is often a different story for the one peering into the future. 

Often the user sees visions of death and suffering, something that can weigh heavily on the reader's heart. In turn those born with the "Sight of Death" ability will often only use it on rare occasions or in some cases, forgo using their powers all together.

"Social Pariahs and Outcasts"

Young children, such as Crimson, who are born with "Sight Of Death" ability are often ousted from their biological families. This is because such children are believed to bring nothing but suffering to their families with things such as bad luck, disease or even pre-mature deaths. As a result these children will often become social pariahs, being avoided by most clansmen and the general public.

"Fortune Telling and Talking To Spirits."

Despite being avoided by most people, many will actively seek individuals with the "Sight Of Death" ability. This is because with this power the future can be predicted, and ghosts of those long since passed can be reached and interacted with. This is favorable for those seeking riches or closure.

"Crimson's Past"

As a young boy Crimson shared the same fate as many of his kind, being outcasted by his family and left to fend for himself. He used this in his favor however. As the boy continued to age he refined his psycic abilities and even became highly sought after for his ability to use them. Although he still struggles from his isolated childhood, he tries not to let it control his life in the modern day.
