Stinger

Stinger is brash and can be hard to get along with.  Back in the day, Juniper had been her only friend; she was hurt and confused when Juniper suddenly left and never told her why, and she held onto that perceived rejection, and it turned her bitter; she used this to convince herself that friendship and love wasn't worth it.

She was one of the last changelings to be reformed; it took her a long time, after being kicked out of the hive by Thorax (she did not get the same saving grace as Pharynx did as she had no relation to Thorax).  She was a follower of Pharynx before she was exiled, but when she heard of what happened, she decided to come back and ask to be allowed back in, to help protect the hive like Pharynx chose to, as she missed the structure and community the Hive offered.  When Thorax and Pharynx welcomed her back, her heart was filled with emotion and she was transformed into a brighter, more colorful form.

She now holds a position similar to Pharynx, training other Changelings to defend themselves and the Hive.

She found Juniper again after returning to the hive, and the two have reconnected; Stinger understands now why Juniper felt like she had to leave, and has forgiven her, and the two are nigh inseparable nowadays.
