Personality: Betty is a very upbeat and optimistic person, who  tries to maintain a positive energy about her as well as those around  her. However she's not super trusting of strangers, but will try to be  cordial to them, and being around too much unfamiliarity does wear her  out easily.

Brief Extra: Betty is an employee of the Speedwagon Foundation's  Stand User division, currently positioned in California, and working  undercover as a waitress at a dual sit-down/drive-in diner(those kinds  with roller-blade waiters) to investigate some mysterious events that  have been going on lately.

The diner is where Betty and Mary first met while she was working a night shift.

American Knight's ability is essentially that it creates a sphere of  obsolescence/negation. AK acts as the center of the sphere, which  generally has a 5 meter radius that can remain active for 5 minutes.  Once the sphere has been activated Knight can move about freely within  the sphere, but the sphere itself will not move, the only way to "move"  it to cancel it and reset a new one. A larger sphere can be created, but  the amount of time that it can remain open for is diminished by half of  the previous half for every two meters.(For example, a 7 meter radius  can stay open for two and a half minutes, 9 meters for a minute and a  quarter, 11 for 37 seconds, etc..) But creating a very large sphere can  be very taxing on the user(For example, creating a sphere of 25 meter  radius for 0.3 seconds would need a decent amount of recovery time) .  Vice versa can also be done, where a smaller sphere can be made to  remain  open for a longer period of time, with each meter smaller adding  an additional minute.

Now what exactly happens within American Knight's sphere? Well, firstly  only organic material is affected within it's effect, and it's really  more of a dome than a complete sphere(It's doesn't pass through the  ground, but things like grass and flowers do get affected). It  immobilizes all organic matter within the dome(making movement obsolete)  and bends/breaks the laws of logic,physics, and reality of them,  leading to very adverse affects, some mostly harmless, others not so  much. Any effect of it that isn't like, life threatening fades away a  few minutes after the dome has left. Betty herself can move within  American Knight's dome, but is still affected by it's law-bending, so  usually stays outside and controls American Knight herself. American  Knight's sphere only affects organic matter, but if someone managed to  cover themselves completely with inorganic matter
