Nameless Doll

• Rough Concept:
  • He was once alive but has no memory of it. The soul was captured in a tiny contraption. He was given a second chance of living.
  • ___ is a doll from years ago. The original creator is long gone but the doll continues to live, practically immortal. He continues to survive by maintaining himself, doing proper repairs and careful not to fracture his fragile skin. He is very lifelike, designed to mimic a young man.
    His only wish is to be real, and to better understand what a true living thing is. Being a live doll with a very slow learning AI, though he's alive by... magic?
• Personality:
  • Skittish. Very cautious and is not one to be reckless or really have fun. His one concern is to keep himself in pristine condition. He can die if he has a major break in his shell, that being his body. He does not want to find out what happens if he comes close to that condition and doesn't know if he'd be able to come back alive if he's fully repaired by someone else. Death is scary to him as it is for humans, so he's relieved to have that in common.
  • Very caring, almost annoyingly so. It's more so because it's the work he was given since he was created. If not that, then he sits quietly like decoration. He has no sense of boredom so he can sit for weeks without a complaint. He's gone a year in storage collecting dust without a word of distress. Regardless, he does prefer to help someone.
