Lucy

CONTENT WARNING: murder/arson, talk of religion (reminiscent of Christianity)

Lucy is a woman with a condescending demeanor. She often unintentionally patronizes others, and often denies that she does it. She is also very invested in lolita fashion and wears it whenever she is able.

Lucy is acquainted with Alicia and finds her attractive, but she is much more fascinated by Cherry. She understands the kind of person that Cherry is and believes she is still able to be "saved."

Lucy has a god complex of sorts. She believes her purpose is to gift salvation to those who need it, like Cherry. She becomes obsessed with trying to save Cherry from her own obsession with Alicia. Eventually, Cherry comes to the conclusion that Lucy plans to get her out of the way to be with Alicia, and so she strikes.

Lucy believes her death will be a part of Cherry's salvation. After she dies, she will ascend into her true godlike form and protect Cherry from any further damage she may cause herself, as well as protect all humans from their own obsessions. However, she insists that this can only happen if she dies "properly." There are a number of ways she will accept her death, but she doesn't explain them to Cherry.

Ultimately, Cherry burns down Lucy's house with her inside of it. She did not see Lucy's last moments, and she still does not know if Lucy truly accepted her death.
