Cress is 6’1 and relatively fit. He has steel blue eyes and a low haircut that he regularly brushes to maintain the subtle wave pattern. His complexion is dark brown.
Weapon - Dust Breaker
A gunblade with a semi-auto rifle mode. When the trigger is pulled in blade form; shards of combustion dust are shattered against the blade to make it vibrate for improved cutting power. One pull per vibration. The vibration function was designed specifically to be used against Grimm.
Personality
Cress is friendly and easy to get along with. He's easy to embarrass and doesn’t know how to accept praise, though he does gloat and hype himself up from time to time. He tends to become focused and direct when it's time to work, for better or worse. Furthermore, he's quick to put himself in harm's way for others, and has a tendency to try to shoulder burdens that aren't his.

Semblance - Relay
A teleportation-type semblance that gives Cress the ability to swap places with another person or object. This semblance requires that he tag the person with his aura. This is mostly accomplished via physical touch.
With training, Cress can extend his aura outward and teleport without physically touching objects or people as long as they're within a certain range.This semblance later evolves to allow him to swap two people or objects with each other. He cannot teleport without swapping locations.
History & Trivia
Cress was born in Atlas and raised in the city of Vale by a faunus mother (Diana Bluebell; formerly: Estelle) and human father (Oliver Bluebell). Diana is a retired huntress hailing from Menagerie while his father is a retired researcher in the field of Grimm study for the Atlas military.
The two met in Mantle and grew closer after several missions where Diana and her team regularly met with Oliver and other scientists in the tundra investigating unnatural Grimm activity. Cress would be born after the couple's marriage much to the dismay of Oliver's family that held old fashioned views of faunus. The Bluebell family are one of Atlas' elite families whose fortune dates back to the Great War. Cress grew up mostly around faunus as his father's side of the family had completely cut contact with them. Cress would grow up wanting to follow in his mother's footsteps and become a huntsman.

- Bluebell flowers are bulbous perennials that provide a profusion of color ranging from deep purple to pinks, whites and blues from April to mid May.
