Once a man, a very long time ago, the Amalgrim is now a beast of scavenging and stitches. Made up primarily of borrowed parts, he sews on the flesh and limbs of other creatures, using them until they rot, or break, or fall to pieces, at which point they will need to be replaced, again. Because of this his body is very rarely made up of the same parts for more than one meeting, although his head and tail tend to keep the same general look, for whatever reason. Likely vanity.

He can be a rather gentle soul for one whose constitution is so grim, and is of a generally good humor. Though he has been known to throw a tantrum over petty inconveniences, actual problems are most often taken with a grain of salt.

He loves company and is wildly affectionate if he takes to someone, despite his unfortunate penchant for eating other sentient beings. These constitute the most of his diet, among a myriad of other, and often largely inedible things. He has a voracious and varied appetite, for carnal pleasures, personal amusements, and of course, food. To this end, he will occasionally chew on his own limbs if he's feeling peckish and at a loss for a convenient meal.

	The Beast Below mate • song Melancholy  and dramatic, soft hearted and sharp of tooth, the Beast Below is a brother to the god that Grim owed a blood-bond in a life a million lifetimes ago. How he and the white wyrm found each other is anyone's guess. But they adore each other- to the point of often being soppily affectionate in inappropriate places. The courtship of ancient, unknowable beings is a strange one, often filled with teeth and tongues, but Grim would have it no other way.
	The Queen of Black Crows bestie • song As much  an enemy at times as a friend, the Amalgrim and the Queen love to tease one another, though heaven help you if you should cause her grief. Sometimes the leader and sometimes the follower, they have tumbled after one another through a handful of ages and night skies, but they always have each other's backs. Even if taking a bite out of it now and then looks very tempting.
	Viel love • song A lover, an oracle, and an adversary from the days when the Amalgrim was a mortal man, Viel is something beyond mortal, exactly, himself. He dips in and out of the time stream, sometimes knowing more than Grim knows about himself, sometimes not recognizing him at all. A beautiful, mysterious thing that a hundred lifetimes later, the Amalgrim is still chasing. Hoping someday he might catch up and dig Viel out of all the secrets he's been buried under.
