Personality:
Hard to read, a bit aloof, can be arrogant/ snarky when he wants to be. Generally good at getting along with people and putting them at ease, the type of person people like telling things to because he's good at keeping a secret. He also knows how to act like he cares about people by remembering the little things that are important to them, which makes people open up to him. He does have a kind heart, but only towards people he cares about. Usually has the view that people should take care of themselves and so doesn't help unless he thinks he has to.
Appearance:
He likes dying his hair pastel colours (like pastel blue/ turquoise too), but mostly keeps it pink. He likes fashion and will keep his appearance trendy, especially during a modelling gig. He loves jackets and sweaters, and wearing lighter colours. He walks with a long stride - he is pretty tall - and with a languid gait.
Abilities:
He has an elephant's memory. While Ambroise can make people see things, Axis can remember practically everything he's read or seen. He can also make people remember things in their subconscious memory if he wants to. He uses the abilities he has to work as a CI for the cops.
Back Story:
WIP. Grew up in a mostly normal family, with strict grandparents and parents who fought quite a bit but were loving with each other at other times. Axis was generally left alone as long as he did well in school, and grew up without much affection given to him. He doesn't think he missed out though. He moved to the city for university and never left, not feeling the need to return to his family. He has been making his own living ever since.
He has an elder sister (Mae) who he has always been in the shadow of - she excelled in almost everything - and they had a contentious relationship growing up. However, after they both became adults, they get along quite well and have started confiding in each other.
Trivia:
✣ his family members aren't close at all, and don't celebrate any holidays together
✣ when he interacts with his family it's quite formal, even with his sister
✣ he meets Ambroise first, when Ambroise was on a case; they get along well
✣ after that Axis started being a CI for Graham when Graham re-joined the force; he likes making fun of Graham
✣ he is actually second-generation South Korean; he changed his original name when he turned 18
✣ he's happy going with the flow in life; no ambitions
✣ often gives weird (and maybe inappropriate) nicknames to people (he has Graham saved as "g-spot" on his phone D: and Ambroise as "it's complicated" because ambroise = amber = traffic light status = it's complicated)
