FEATURES & TRAITS

Fey Ancestry - Advantage on saving throws against being charmed and magic can't put you to sleep.

Trance - You don't need to sleep, but meditate semi-consciously for 4 hours a day. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.

Superior Darkvision - You can see in darkness (shades of gray) up to 120 ft.

Sunlight Sensitivity - You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on perception checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.

Drow Magic - You know the dancing lights cantrip. At 3rd level you can cast faerie fire once per long rest. At 5th level you can cast darkness once per long rest.

Divine Sense - As an action, you can detect good and evil. Until the end of your next turn, you can sense anything affected by the hallow spell or know the location of any celestial, fiend, undead within 60 ft. that is not behind total cover. You can do this a number of times equal to 1 + your charisma modifier per long rest.

Lay on Hands - You have a pool of healing power equal to your paladin level x 5 per long rest. As an action, you can touch a creature to restore any number of HP remaining in the pool, or 5 HP to either cure a disease or neutralize a poison affecting the creature.

Defense - While you are wearing armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC.

Spellcasting - You can cast prepared paladin spells using CHA as your spellcasting modifier. You can use a holy symbol as a spellcasting focus.

Divine Smite - When you hit with a melee weapon attack, you can expend one spell slot to deal 2d8 extra radiant damage to the target plus 1d8 for each spell level higher than 1st (max 5d8) and plus 1d8 against undead or fiends (max 6d8 total).

Divine Health - You are immune to disease.

Channel Divinity - You gain two Channel Divinity options, when you use your Channel Divinity, you choose which option to use. You must then finish a short or long rest to use your Channel Divinity again.:
Emissary of Peace - As a bonus action, you grant yourself a +5 bonus to Persuasion checks for the next 10 minutes.
Rebuke the Violent - Immediately after an attacker within 30 feet of you deals damage with an attack against a creature other than you, you can use your reaction to force the attacker to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the attacker takes radiant damage equal to the damage it just dealt, or half as much on a successful one.

Actor - You gain +1 CHA, you have advantage on Deception and Performance checks when trying to pass yourself off as a different person, and you can mimic the speech of another person or the sounds made by other creatures that you have heard for at least 1 minute.

Extra Attack - You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Aura of Protection - While you are conscious, you grant all friendly creatures (including you) within 10 ft. a +5 bonus to all saving throws.

Aura of the Guardian - When a creature within 10 ft. of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to magically take that damage instead. This feature doesn’t transfer any other effects that might accompany the damage, and this damage can’t be reduced in any way.

Aura of Courage - While you are conscious, you and friendly creatures within 10 ft. can’t be frightened.

character isn't actually being played and i have no intention of actually playing him

Deimos is from Den Hythenos of the Kryn Dynasty. He became a paladin of Pelor after leaving Rosohna to travel the rest of Exandria and met followers of Pelor along the way, finding their belief of compassion and help of the innocent to align with his own. He doesn't consider himself a worshiper of Pelor, but would describe himself as a follower with a relationship of respect and shared values rather than actual worship.
In his travels he doesn't stay in one place for long and avoids becoming attached to any of the people he meets, having already outlived some of the friends he grew up alongside in Rosohna and not wanting to have to have it happen again.
Eventually, he becomes the champion of Pelor and all that. While still primarily serving him, he does develop a connection with the Raven Queen as well, which helps his issues surrounding the inevitability of grief in his life.
