Energetic, Compassionate, patient

Ekko is a ball of energy, and while it could go either way she tries to see the best in it. Shes very much an optimist, about anyone except herself. She loves to offer a helping hand to anyone that may need it, even if it causes her pain or issues. She tries to find a calm way to a solution but sometimes her firey side wil get the best of her.

Boisterous, Spontaneous, anxious

This gal is very loud almost to a fault, due to her sheltered life she feels the need to talk to be heard, even if no one is actually listening to her. She likes to think her carelessness is more spontanaity then anything, but its mostly stemming from her anxeity. The anxious feelings she gets sometimes helps her stay away from harmful sutiutations, while also sometimes sticking her right in the middle of them.

Self-loathing, Stubborn, gullible

With a sheltered unbringing by her parents, Ekko never fully blossomed into the confident girl she could have become. Her self doubt often turns to self loathing, despite the happy exterior she tries to give off. She isn't easily swayed when shes made up her mind, but unfortunatly for her, sometimes shes swayed the wrong direction due to her gullibleness, which has gotten the best of her a few times.

History

In a forest near where the hills met the trees, a pair of cats had a litter of kittens. This is where we meet Ekko, a tortoiseshell kitten with a big sense of adventure. She spent a lot of time with her siblings playing in the forest. Her family lived among a group of cats, an amicable group that allowed weary travelers to stop, rest and eat. They had no name, just co-exsisted. Although many passed through, her parents kept her and her siblings away, and "out of danger" as they put it. She was curious and her parents always squashed her ambition, in effort to protect her. She lived a very sheltered life, leading to her self doubt. Any predators came to the area, they would take to the trees, climbing to stay out of harms way. Yet, one of the times her only sister, was lost to a fox that snatched her up, all too quickly. It was months later that smog rolled in and took her family, and the rest of the cats that she lived with. This caused her to start traveling on her own, much to her dismay. She set out, to find her next adventure.

World Event

Smog. Smog everywhere. Ekko had begun to see it creep in on the horizon. Thick clouds, so low to the groud, like fog rolling over the hills creeping towards her home, and her family. Over the next couple of days it got closer and closer. As it reached her, cats began to cough. The older cats getting sicker then the stronger younger cats, kittens struggling to breathe the thick almost seeminly posionous air. Cats in the tight knit community began to drop like flies, and Ekko's parents, now showing signs of the smog affecting their bodies, urged her to leave and find somewhere better. She gathered the cats that were seemingly still healthy and left. As she traveled, more cats fell ill to the smog that had already entered their lungs. Leaving her traveling by herself.

Writing Example

((This is roughly a year old, and not Ekko)) The walk back to camp has been despondent and long. Stormcall spent her time checking on on her clanmates, giving some a pass of her tongue over ears and shoulders, to give comfort. She greeted each cat with a pass of her tail, and gave reassurance to those who needed it as they walked. Once she had checked on every cat in the group, she trailed behind to make sure that they all stayed together. Her head hung slightly as she looked forward at the paws and tails in front of her, all disheveled from the attack, and now possibly without a medicine cat. Just an apprentice that had just begun training, and with Waterclan losing Barkleaf... And Stormstar. The first attack had taken so many, only to turn around and take more. But these.. Runes, they were supposed to help protect them, and she just couldn't understand how.Once in the camp the deputy made eye contact with her father, the two making their way to each other. The two cats rubbing heads in greeting. Before they could speak, Solarstar summoned her, and she padded forward to her leader. "Would you mind going around and waking anyone who had stayed behind?" He asked the apprentices he had called over. Stormcall sat close by, keeping herself composed and sitting properly, and as straight up as she could after tonight. "Understood Solarstar, I'm sure they will all understand. I will have warriors stand guard tonight, I believe it will be good to have, at least for tonight," She said, her voice full of concern for her clan, and exhaustion from the nights events. She herself hadn't had the full amount of time to process as she would have wanted, and it certainly wasn't how she wanted her first gathering as Deputy to have gone. Stormcall sat at the base of Tall Rock, waiting for the apprentice to finish waking the clan, and for Solarstar to call the clan together officially.
