Is paired romantically with Lilia! He suspected Lilia to be much older than initially presented as in practically the first week, so his curiosity about the other grew and turned into a lot of snooping. A lot of snooping which Lilia was hyper aware of. So Lilia eventually confronts him with a joke. It's a test of course, and somehow Belo passes. This leads the ancient to dote on him for some reason, always reaching out to touch his ears or his tail and hug him. Belo is very annoyed at first but for some reason he gets used to it, and before he even realizes theyre always hanging out
