The war was still ongoing when she was alive. Forced to go to another place with her family to try get away from the clashing territories. She lived her whole childhood within a house infused with the tree, all entrances are barricaded with the outer walls covered in mud to camouflage with the wooden bark. She wondered where the others are and wanted to see outside of the house, but her family refused to let her leave. She'd be scolded if she requests to see the outside, even if its by peeking through the window.
The whole place is silent with her parents, she'd rarely hear conversation outside but it would be too muffled to be comprehensible. The only thing entertaining her everyday are the dusty books, half-broken toys and her family.
Her 13th birthday is the very same day the war is declared to be over. Nobody won and no one gain anything. Despite this announcement, rumours spread that it was never truly over and everyone is just spying. With this reason, her family wont let Neveah out of the neighborhood but did finally allow her to walk outside. She should always be near the house and in sight through the windows. The only time she is allowed to go far is when she is accompanied with a family member.
As she happily took a stroll around the neighborhood. She notices a group of wincoels in uniform. Asking what are those for, she was introduced to the idea of school. It captured her attention and intrigued her. Although her family refused this offer, she still tries to convince otherwise. Her mother had enough and let her enrolled into school, and also let her join Girl Scouts of Terapaxis.
