♡ HISTORY ♡

Hinako was born into a rather small family. Already an only child to begin with, her mother fell ill while she was still very young, only to die shortly afterwards. Her father began a long period of grief, even growing a dislike for the girl's eyes that were so similar to her mother's. This was expressed many times throughout her life, so much Hinako developed a dislike for her eyes herself. However, despite the hatred she ended up having for them, her mother did leave behind other objects she took a liking to.

Hinako's mother collected many dolls throughout her life, as she had a quirk similar to Hinako's when it came to being able to control them. And as there were many dolls still left from when her mother was alive (mostly kept in the attic, but a few were placed neatly in Hinako's room), it was only a matter of time before not only the girl discovered her quirk but also her love for dolls as well. Unfortunately her father had a new dislike to express, and soon her quirk became a major target next to her eyes.

Slowly, she felt herself somewhat coming to not like her own quirk, and it would've almost happened fully had she not decided to sneak around the attic one day in search of dolls. Along with a large human-sized, almost puppet-like, doll, Hinako discovered a journal kept by her mother. It in expressed her mother's interest in dolls and her own quirk and how she had longed to be a hero someday. She decided to keep the book, reading it a little day by day and learning more about her mother. It was not long before she had knowledge about how much she wanted to become a hero, but was just never truly able to achieve her goal. With such thoughts in mind, and realizing how much she wanted to be able to do something her mom could be proud of, Hinako decided she would become the hero she never got to be.

 

♡ QUIRK ♡

Puppet Master

Hinako is capable of controlling dolls. She can use them in a fight, whether in an offense or defense type style, or simply just talk through them or use them for everyday tasks. However, while she is using them she is unable to move one part of her body, in a concept which the larger the doll the larger the body part she is unable to use. For example, a small average sized doll being controlled could mean she is unable to move a single finger. A medium-sized about half the size of her body-type doll would not allow her to move her whole hand, and a doll that is her size or taller than her could prevent her from moving her entire arm. Once she stops controlling the doll though, she is able to move that part of her body again.
