In this AU Soran is a simiq, and his theme is Blue Raspberry + Squid.
He's very manipulative and cunning, and has little empathy or morals when it comes to the well-being of those around him. At his core, he values money and reputation, enjoying being the center of a web of connections that he can exploit for his own gain whenever he needs to. He's very good at reading people, which makes it easy for him to take what he learns to manipulate those around him.
He's also very charming, and despite his flaws, he often manages to get on people's good sides, at least long enough to get what he wants out of them. By the time people realize who he really is, if they ever do, he's already got them wrapped around his fingers. He's constantly managing to pull people back in who're trying to get away from him.
He works primarily as a merchant, selling a variety of items that may or may not have any practical use for typically high prices. If it suits him, he's also willing to do various services at times. He doesn't have a physical storefront, instead traveling around to different places he sees fit for selling his goods. He often sells in places like market stalls, wagons, and just off his person.

In this AU Soran works as a slime rancher, alongside Kindra.
Soran is a confident, hard-working individual who takes pride in his farm and does the best he can to care for the slimes under his watch. He spends the majority of his time tending to the ranch in some way or another.
Additionally, he is very caring and empathetic, which extends both to other people and the slimes in his care. He's good at reading people and comforting them when they're upset or hurt.
