Zookeper

He's a zookeeper in the realm of the dead. His job is to guide recently deceased animals to the Ever After, and has a great sensitivity to the feelings of animals. There, he tends to them and nurtures them. His favourites are extinct animals and the fierce ones, because he admires their fire and believes they're misunderstood. However, he is pretty withdrawn towards people and likes being alone or with animals.

Zookeeper doesn't mean to be rude but is very bad at recognizing social cues... and ends up saying some unfortunate things sometimes.

Zookeeper prefers to be around animals instead of people, especially after a person he trusted during his life framed him for murder, which ultimately led to his death by hanging. He became a zookeeper because someone he cared about in the past loved animals and said that they wanted to reincarnate as an animal, because of how carefree and beautiful they are. Zookeeper searches in hopes of meeting them again, but ultimately realizes the futility of his search and gives up after deciding to live for himself and stop dwelling in the past.
