"A priest of Arkay who mentored under Andurs in Whiterun before heading out on his own. He was meant to be the new head priest in -(town i haven't decided on yet)- but was attacked by bandits on the roads and thrown into a cell. He watched terrible things happen to his travelling companions-the coach driver, the hunter and married couple with them-but the bandits didn't seem to know what to do with him.
eventually they sold him off to a group of mages. He doesn't remember much of what happened after. lots of burning, lots of screaming. He dies is what happened. and it's only days or maybe weeks later that a wannabe necromancer raises him from the dead with the intent of having a mostly intact thrall, only to get attacked and eaten. Sil doesn't really remember that, but knows that he was eating the guy before his brain started working again.
When you meet him, he's wrapped in hoods and scarves, hidden behind a door or in shadows and desperate for help. your character notes that there's something wrong with his voice and what you can see of him is. odd somehow."
Silarnius is a Follower NPC I'm working on. I created his skin textures and meshes from combining different aspects of the Imperial, Draugr, and Skeleton skins/meshes. He uses a hair style i BELIEVE is from KS Hairdo's. He's become a favourite of mine to work with and i fully intend to use him as more than just a follower npc, one day. The quoted text above is how i have him described in a planning google doc.
As a trained Priest of Arkay, Sil is obviously good with healing, and purifying magics, however, his time spent as a plaything for necromancers has meant that he's unwillingly picked up a few necromancer skills. Sil is disgusted by this magic-as he would be with his training-and only resorts to it as a last cause. He can summon skeletons and recently dead bodies to defend him.
Sil is also a bit of a cannibal-yknow. considering he's a corpse and all-but again, is horrified and disgusted by it and thus REALLY TRIES to not partake. He has cravings though and it makes him retch.
Overall this character is kind of crotchety, and mean, but he has every right to be.
As a Precaution, Sil's images will all be marked for Gore, because he's. well. a corpse. He's missing his left eye, the skin of his lips and the remaining skin is in varying levels of decay. So like. be Warned.
