Burnout

At first glance, Burnout is a typical Imperial pilot. Known for her flight record and risky-but-successful maneuvers, Burnout has made a name for herself among the Imperial naval ranks. Arrogant and outgoing with a constant desire for adrenaline, Burnout tends to be the life of the party...at least until things go south.

Of course, there is more to Burnout than meets the eye. Her boastful demeanor hides a highly insecure and neurotic personality, whose default coping mechanisms are self-destructive. While expected by Imperial command that she has no regard for her own life in the air, this attitude carries over into her everyday life, and has led to struggles with alcoholism, belligerence, and emotional self-sabotage. This is only fueled by her growing disdain towards the Empire, particularly its treatment of their enlisted personnel, and her lack of a clear avenue out of this war beyond the vacuum of space itself.

Recently. Burnout has been taking steps to clean up her act; after meeting and falling deeply in love with a death trooper known as Skullcrusher, Burnout has made attempts to curb her constant need to knock herself down with the encouragement of her girlfriend at her side. While she isn't 100% successful 100% of the time, it's the small steps that count -- and even small steps make a difference when your choice of military career has you labeled as "expendable" by your own commanding officers.
