Background: Emila lost her previous job at a bookstore once it closed down and was desperate to find another one. She tried retail work and fast food service but she hated all of it - it was too fast-paced and the public was too much to handle. When she saw the help wanted sign in the window of the pet shop, she knew at once that this was the place for her. She was shocked to find out the owner of it was younger than her, but as long as she was paid what was fair, she didn't mind. She's taken on more responsibilities at the store than anyone other than The Owner, but she's proud of the work that she does and she's always happy to help out when needed. After working at the bookstore for 10 years, she wasn't sure she was going to find another career that she felt fulfilled in, but now she feels that she can call Pets R Us home.
