Bastian had summoned him on accident, but Pringle made it clear that he never planned to leave. The two made a contract when Bastian had first been turned, making a promise that Pringle would never see Bastian in danger, if it were to ever get that far, Pringle makes it his life mission to make sure he has everything he neesd at all times. Pringle works as his advisor and bodyguard, two jobs that Bastian had jokingly given him as a way to try and keep him off his back, though it only fueled Pringle even more to work hard to earn his attention that he is yet to recieve without bloodshed.
Even with his unhealthy obsession for Bastian, Pringle has managed to find someone who he's grown fond of, a prince that he happened to find while travelling, he became absolutely enthralled and couldn't help the feeling that he needed to be by his side whenever he isn't busy with his Master or Bastian. He likes to consider himself a knight in shining armor for both him and Bastian, making sure the two of them are held on a pedistal and treated like royalty (Dawn moreso than Bastian). He'd never want to see his beloved unhappy, doing everything he can to spoil him with riches and sweets, anything to his heart's desire.
There's only one being in this world that's capable of making Pringle feel uneasy, as a man that prides himself on being untouchable, Sin is capable of breakig down any walls and bending him to his will. He's civil with him, praises him like a god, even enjoys his company at times, he loves to sit for tea with both Sin and Grace on a good day, chatting about his life and the parties he's attended, but as soon as Sin opens his mouth, anything anyone else says is deemed unecessary and unimportant. The man gives him a feeling of forboding, even when he's done everything just as he'd asked, there's always that looming feeling of subjugation in the back of his mind.
