Aethar’s mother was a sucubus and his father was the dragon king. His father had an affair with a sex worker, this affair resulted in Aethar’s birth. His mother was going to kill him when he was born to get rid of him, and any evidance she slept with the king. His father took him, not out of love, not to be a good father. His father wanted an heir but treated him like a child, his father died soon after Aethar turned 16. His father was a terrible king, he ruled with a iron fist. He tortured people who only committed small crimes, even just stealing a slice of bread could lead to death while he ruled. He sent so many soldiers to their death, knowing that his army wasn’t ready to fight. He enjoyed the war, he was the person who started it. He wanted Aethar to rule the exact same way he did. Aethar couldn’t, he was too kind. The king had multiple nanny’s for Aethar, servants, cooks, guards, etc. He punished them if they tried to persuade Aethar to be kind. He even punished Evelyn, Aethar’s mother figure for giving him a hair tie. The king hated any thought of Aethar being gay or feminine. He forced Aethar to cut his hair multiple times, he also forced Aethar to go to a church.The King's exact words were, "You have to repent for every horrible thing you've thought.. You have to repent." This never stopped Aethar, Evelyn, his mother figure was really accepting of him so it helped him a lot.
