First seen in Valor!Tale, in chapter 1. Despite being SOULESS El does indeed have emotions and can still feel/experience feelings. The remaining dust that was recovered had been tampered and mixed with the buttercups; the same flower bed Asriel originally dusted in. Flowey was created using DT and 7 monster SOULS. He was revived by Alphys and quickly escaped before Asgore paid him a visit. He spent his "freedom" in despair. The DETERMINATION used on his dust, managed to give him a form created from the lingering regrets and confliction he felt prior to dusting. The monster souls used had stabilized their new form and giving him the ability to use magic. The form his "body" took resembled the buttercups. While he is technically a monster, the flower DNA had given him a more physical state. Should this form be damaged, he will not dust. Most likely he will bleed and whatever is torn from him will remain.
