this doc pretty much has some things detailed about Mori! ill do my best to summarize here tho since i know most people wont have the energy to look through it tho ^-^ some information might get repeated every now n then sorry
STILL A WIP my thoughts tend to go all over the place so theres things i need to add in between
Mori (son of death and cupid)
Age: thousands of years old, but we'll go with visibly in his mid to late 20s :3c
Romantically paired with: Mammon
Gets Along pretty well with everyone else! Though at first its more of faux politeness that starts to turn real and genuine. He can really pull off a fake polite smile while hiding his real emotions if need be tho
fun little facts about Mori
-he cant get drunk pretty much at all with 90% of drinks (it's due to his bloodline/resistance to poisons and such. i'd like to think it takes a lotttttttttttttttttttttt to really get him tipsy. that or there's some sort of magical elixir specially that would have to effect him but is special and rare in the supernatural world)
-he does start out by wanting to kill Mammon but he's very much a romantic deep down. He really admires the love his father found and desires that as well, even if he couldnt properly connect with anyone for a long time
-he can rock any sort of fashion really but often times youll find him in something comfy (big tee, baggy sweatpants, crocs.... he still pulls it off. most ppl dont expect that from him)
-Mori very much loves chaos and fun and partying, so you'd think him and Mammon hit it off instantly. And they do in a way, but its a coin toss on whether Mammon steals his braincells away OR Mori is forced to be.... responsible... OH THE HORROR... RESPONSIBILITY.... He found Mammon terribly irritating on first meeting tho
-he's very tall. Taller than Mammon even, but just enough to look slightly over his head :)
-He cant dye his hair in any way at all. Nothing sticks for some reason. Chalk it up to the bright pink of his hair and his bloodline but for some reason its impossible. He tried very hard during his rebellious teenage era to have black hair.
-For awhile he was afraid of touching most living things due to not having his powers fully under control. He's got it under control now for sure, he's had eons to practice and grow and get stronger, but there are times he often worries one touch might send someone falling to the ground if he's not careful. He's thought about this a lot mostly while dealing with Mammon bcuz it took awhile for him to accept that people had gotten close enough for him to worry

Okay so. first things first. son of cupid and the reaper... i know! quite an inchresting pair
Death and Love are careful things that cross paths all throughout life. Everyone has felt some sort of love in their life before:- platonic love for friends, love and care for a treasured family member, adoration for a pet, romantic love from a partner; just most things that make me people happy and give them a reason to keep moving forward each day. Just as it's as easy as this to be a daily occurrence, the grasp of Death was around the corner for everyone. It's something every mortal tangles with at some point:- people, pets, other animals- you name it. He had a duty to collect, a harsh occupation that left no judgement, just as love casts a blind nonjudgmental eye to whoever it plagues within its spell. They first met in a hospital, unable to be seen by the humans residing there; not without willingly. The details are blurry from both ends, a man crying as he holds his wife's hand in his shaking trembling hands. Cupid was drawn by the absolute dedication, the prayers and pleas leaving the mans mouth for his soon to be wife. Well, the 'soon' was rocky, but Cupid couldn't help but admire the amount of love pouring off the walls in waves. Death had been drawn in as well, for reasons that weren't very pretty. Not a word passes at first as they survey the scene, then each other. The air is tense, charged and unsure. They both know what he has to do here. Cupid finds herself. The months blur by curiously, effortlessly, but they were never meant to be really. But because the world lacked Cupid's guiding hand it started to fall in disarray. Humans can still find love in the little things sure, they can get a lot done on their own. But Cupid is there for a reason. She wasn't brought into the world to enjoy a leisurely life filled with love and raising a family; she was to give that joyous gift to other denizens of the world, much like the whisper of love Aphrodite would leave in the ears of many men all over the world. Cupid's duty- their career- was most important. Death understood this. He did not accept it. No, not for a very very very long time. Mori was the product of their time together, and it wasn't like Cupid really had the time to take care of him. They ended things on a very bittersweet note after Mori was born. It's the reason Mori jokes about why he has bad luck with love honestly since nothings ever permanent.
His Dad then went on to fall in love with another lesser demon from the Underworld, so Mori's a lot closer to his stepdad as an actual parental figure. He's never seen Cupid in person once, merely heard of them from his father. The stories are brief, clipped. Almost like Grim simply doesn't want to dwell on them anymore.
Being the Prince of the Underworld, Mori was quite spoiled growing up. Butlers and servants were always at his whim. He was kind to them, but still above them in a sense. He took advantage of his position in life, always out on the go enjoying the best the world had to offer. Riches, parties, partners. He was allowed to have some fun, no? Especially when his Dad was expecting him to follow in his footsteps. He never expected an heir really, but life.... was just as unexpected as Death it seemed. Mori was never a fan of his Reaper duties really, he found it quite boring or annoying to do so he often ditched his responsibilities. Which in turn annoyed his dads. This is where RAD comes in. His dad all but forces him to attend in the hopes to instill a sense of responsibility that isnt just slacking off all the time. (Not to mention he'd like to keep an eye on Diavolo and Barbatos. I never talked about it before but Death has a one-sided beef with the two of them and Mori kind of wants to take the throne since he thinks he could totally pull off the whole Prince thing better fhdskfs its silly really)
But he pretty much opens a portal one day when Mori returns from a big party like 'Hey, I enrolled you using your stepdads name, dont tell anyone youre a Reaper. Learn to be responsible and then you can come home again. Bye' And let's his servants dump Mori's bags through.
when Mori first got sent to RAD his goal was mainly to snoop around and gather tons of information on The Demon Prince (while getting a good education and sense of duty). He kept to the shadows, he indulged in his school life as inconspicuously as possible (which you'd probably scoff at since he has this big bright pink hair, but compared to all the interesting looking demons there he does blend in well enough somehow). Unfortunately for Mori, he seems to be snooping around a little too much, in the wrong place at the wrong time. Mammon was in the middle of getting back from one of his jobs Lucifer had given him, which is interesting honestly. Mori's in a pretty desolate area so how did Mammon even think to head this way? Either way his first is quite literally to kill him as he doesn't even know this guy or his rank and all that.
Somehow he saves it by asking him out, an while it doesnt properly work in a way he'd like it opens a lot of doors for Mori
Not many people believed Mori (besides Mammon) when he eventually got bored of staying quiet and started mentioning that he was indeed a reaper btw. They always thought he was joking like he usually tends to do, something lighthearted and playful. He also starts off just a tad bit malicious secretly, but everyone really likes him over time so he starts to value everyone as well. Thirteen and Solomon believe him firstly, then the others start to come around a bit more.
*Mori wears black a lot even though he doesn't always like being associated as a reaper? like he would try to stray away from it and just always end up being drawn to it anyways
*his fashion is kind of all over the place -_- he can dress risque, but he usually stays comfy (you could mistake him for a literary nerd that sits in coffee shops if youre in the right place at the right time)
*he's usually just^-^ :D :) when he's talking to people cuz in the past when he used to show his negative emotions a lot it would cause nature and ppl to start aging and die around him. this was due to his powers still being out of control and since everyone and everything around them has innate energy in them, there would be a high chance for that to be manipulated. he mostly has it under control now and reigns it in to 'always be in a good mood', which is why mammon getting under his skin annoys him since in the back of his mind he's like "what if I get so mad I accidentally..... nah. hmmm but what if lol." also he's just very good at being fake in general tbh. he becomes more genuine as a person the longer he stays in the RAD program and makes genuine connections. a lot of ppl still dont know what he's thinking half the time tho
About Mammori (Mammon/Mori ship)
*Mori is unintentionally his lucky money magnet at the start of their friendship, so Mammon starts believing its real or something. Would just walk up to him like "Give me a number." and Mammon would gamble and always wins, so he keeps just going back like an excited puppy during random times of the day
*Mori's grades are surprisingly really good! considering he likes to slack off to a certain degree. Lucifer is always asking if he can help tutor Mammon among extra lessons so he obliges. Unfortunately they dont get much done even tho Mori really does try at the start. Mammon is a little too persuasive when he wants to be
*Mammon and Mori dont GENUINELY date for a long time bcuzzzzzz theyre both oblivious and in disbelief that the other party would like them romantically. even though they both flirt with each other a lot constantly and are very forthright. Ppl would start taking bets on when they would get together and mammon (bless his heart) doesnt realize its abt them. he just hears ppl are betting on something so he goes up to levi like "what? is kenma still ghosting barbatos or somethin? why is everyone betting, let me join!" and levi just like stares at him in a really pained way
*do not think Mammon will properly believe he is actually talking to Death himself whenever Mori talks to his dad on the phone. not for a long time at least. mammon ends up embarrassing both of them the first time they do a proper facetime call. then mori's dad embarrasses him with a story on accident. mammon and death get on good terms bonding over it somehow
*mori never really cooked for himself at all since he was spoiled and rich and relied on servants right up until his dad forced him to attend RAD, so he gets bored one day and decides to try baking cuz why not. its honestly not a complete disaster so he keeps doing it and gets pretty decent at it. he always lets mammon taste test first since mammon INSISTED (and mammon used to worry abt being poisoned bcuz he did try to poison him just ONCE teehee flashes peace sign). but Mori quickly stopped after the one attempt bcuz he secretly likes seeing mammon happy abt something he made. So mammon always makes sure he has time to sit down and eat and relax with him but tbh all he does is compliment like crazy. tho he will still begrudgingly joke abt it being poisoned since i do not think he'd ever let it go
*mammon will be dramatic and cry and throw up if mori doesnt text him goodnight or say something before he goes to sleep. doesnt matter if hes drunk or out super late gambling or if they are next to each other in bed he needs to know mori should tell his super pretty bf goodnight or else he will shake him and sniffle, perhaps even pretend to sleepover in someone elses room even tho he doesnt actually want to. pretends to pack a little bag, look back at mori, grab his things, look at mori, stand in the doorway, look at mori, pretend to call beel or satan, look at mori like 'are you gonna say gn to me now? not like I care or anything but- '
