Amiele isn't your stereotypical French person-- he's not romantic, a borderline alcoholic, or smooth-talking. In reality, he's an awkward, clumsy, nervous wreck.
His family moved to America when he was 12, and he didn't like it. The people in the U.S. are rude, it's hard to keep a steady job, and he can't make any friends. He's really nervous half of the time, and he hates talking to people-- he doesn't know why (or how) he got a job as a waiter. To add on to his social awkwardness, he's a bit of a hopeless romantic. He falls in love too fast for his own good.
He learned english before he came to America, but he still has a very thick accent. Sometimes, it's hard to tell what he's saying.
