Born with an extra set of photoreceptor cones in his eyes, Axel has an extensive knowledge of colour theory and design. He firmly believes that colour and light working in tandem is the best way to make a house feel like a home. He tends to throw himself into his work and often takes on more jobs than he can really handle. It's very common to find Axel completely overwhelmed. He survives by doing what he loves; painting. He works through his thoughts by painting rooms. He credits this with helping him make the best decisions, and he's earned a reputation as an honest and kind tradesman. He can get pretty messy once he's deep in his thoughts, but this only ever affects his person and not the space he's working in.
