Shenzira was born into the Order of the Cobalt Soul, her mother passing shortly thereafter. With the identity of her father a secret and freshly orphaned, the Order decided to collectively raise her. They taught her everything they could, molding and sculpting this young mind with all the knowledge and information they have possessed for years in the growing archives and libraries. Each "parent" was a tutor in some way, teaching her their specialties in arcana, history, religion, politics, etc. Each lesson was filled with the unfiltered unbridled truth, contrasting to the more popularized sugarcoated lies that have become more known. Unfortunately, Zira struggled maintaining focus as the teachings drilled and overflooded her brain. She was unable to pay attention, her grades and lessons slipping as she drifted off into thought. Most days, she would idolize and fantasize herself as a martial artist, replicating the moves the monks would perform in the lower levels. It became obvious that the little tiefling needed an outlet, and seeing as how she would be caught spying and sneaking into the sparring sublevels, the "parent collective" came to an agreement on allowing her to train. But only with the prerequisite and limitation that she is able to succeed in her studies and remain focused.

Delighted and ecstatic, she was brimming with joy. However, the training had proven tougher than she had envisioned. Training was hard and her mentor was tough. But Zira remained determined. It wasn't too long until she caught on. Her studies improved, often finishing faster than anticipated so she could scurry to the sparring levels and immediately be in training. She spent her downtime practicing moves, excelling to the point where she was recognized and made an official Way of the Cobalt Soul Monk at the age of eighteen.

Having learned and excelled in most aspects, the fortified walls of their stronghold once again began to feel stifling and she wasn't properly stimulated. Often peering beyond the cliffs and to the ocean, she could only imagine the world beyond their isolated isle. There was a whole world to see and she felt as if she was more than ready to take it on. Skeptical of letting this naïve child venture out into the cold harsh world, vulnerable and unaware of the dangers that lurk beyond their keep, the Order shut down any and all desperate pleas and whines to be let out. But, if there was one thing she learned under the tutelage of her multiple parents of the Order (except of course all the knowledge and training), it was how to take initiative. Pulling a schematic scroll and rations, she snuck out of the keep through hidden passageways. 

And so began Shenzira's adventures.
