Story
The plot develops in an alternate timeline from the canon. In this story, not all the lunarians were prayed away and gems kept being born on Earth. Due to the lunarian attacks, gems kept a similar social structure with some minor changes. Dumortierite and Bazzite are the main characters from this plot, being an unlikely couple with a special interest on the moon and the past of the island where they live.
Present
Born 1025 years ago, alongside Emerald and Zetzerite, Apatite is considered among the eldest gems in the society. During their first centuries, Apatite was a reckless young one with a huge deisre for combat, this, with his medium to low hardness made them a troublesome gem. It is uncertain at which point did Apatite's personality changed, but it's highly suspected that they had to "grow up" after Tugtupite. one of their duty pairs was taken by the Moon people.
After that, Apatite became calmer and kinder, even a little caring towards younger gems. They wish to teach other gems how a reckles, selfish attitude can end up with a heavy burden. He's particularly concerned of Bazzite, as the mint-coloured gem reminds him a lot of his younger self.

- Weapon: A long obsidian sword
- He keeps his hair long as he's sort of a speedy. Apatite's hair is voluminous so it has to get constantly cleaned.
- Past Duty Pair:
- Tugtupite They were a shy gem who was very loyal towards Apatite, maybe that's the reason of the grief Apatite feels about their abduction.
- Although they aren't keen on having a pair during patrols, they are willing to go with whomever asks them. Apatite has a huge soft spot for younger gems.
- They have a soft spot for Dumortierite and Bazzite, both remind them of his past self.
You are free to draw my characters as long as it's not for commercial or hate purposes. Even though gems are genderless, I'm more keen on drawing them with androginous/masculine features, also, yeah, you can draw them getting broken.
