Mirai, Guardian of the Dead City
There are ruins of a small village discretely tucked away in the winding mountains to the east. The village's name has been lost to time; many of the buildings have collapsed and the few districts that remain are deeply decayed. Even so, if someone were to enter one of the intact buildings, they would find the furniture and belongings unlooted and unusually preserved. Oh, it would be moldy and unpleasant to be sure--but to a treasure hunter that is a small matter. After all, is is the precious metals and jewelry found inside that is most valuable.
But treasure hunters, beware: there is a reason why these treasures remain unplundered, for a horrible monster lurks amoung the rubble. Few have encountered this beast and escaped with their lives, and all who encounter his necrotic bite will surely die without medical treatment. And if you should hear a crying infant you must not draw near--for it is no human cry, but instead that of the duplicitous beast trying to lure you close. He is Mirai of the Dead, Guardian of the Nameless City.
