Personality
- Friendly, Kind, Selfless, Optimistic, Hopeful
- Hides her dark thoughts in the back of her head
- Doesn't want anyone to worry about her, hates when people worry too much about her
- Sings often when she is alone. Is a talented singer, but hates to be praised for it
- Tries to stay out of the spotlight
- Makes candles in her free time, which have different magical effects when being lit.
- Still tries to make the perfect candle so her crush falls in love with her.
- Loves romantic and sweet shows and movies
- Easily scared by movies.
- Easily worried in RL.
- Drinks a lot of tea, especially tea to calm down.
- Loves to tell innocent jokes.
Role in the Game
- Can make special candles, which can randomize your playthrough
- Only able to be bought at the beginning of your playthrough
- Mostly randomize which route you will take, even if this route isn't available anymore
- Also gives hints of which answers to take for a good ending
- Basically "Easy Mode"
- None of her candles have bad side effects
- Seen as one of the most wholesome NPCs by the fandom
Creation
- Requested her design by a headshot in a TH Game.
- Got her as she was planned for "Furniture Heartbreak"
- Didn't have any role for a long time, until I came up with the candle idea.
Skills
- Soft Candles: Able to make candles, which cast magic when being enlighted. Each candle can only cast a specific spell. None of them ever mean harm though.
- Starlight: Able to read the future in the stars, but tends to keep bad things hidden in her mind, not telling anyone about the horrible future ahead.
- Dreamer: Able to lucid dream. However, sometimes her dreams become so vivid, that they become reality for a short time, sucking people in around her. This is why she takes great care that she gets no bad dreams/nightmares.
- Batheart: Can fly with her batwings and screech like a bat to see things in the dark.
- Nightlight: Can create a small star, which can be used as a nightlight. It can be casted as soon as the night breaks on, and dissappears with sunrise.
- Witchcraft: Able to cast magic. Specialises in healing, dream, light and fire magic.
Backstory
- Always lived in a little hut in the monster world, together with her adoptive mother, a giant black cat called Non.
- Was an orphan, doesn't know how and if her parents died, but tries not to think about it.
- The big cat always tried to prevent her from getting into trouble or dark times
- But she couldn't prevent Wachs getting made fun of for her more childish behaviour.
- And so, Wachs got a low self-esteem, which she hid more and more when growing up.
- Despite this, she had some friends and she knew she could trust Non blindly.
- Started creating and selling candles with 15.
- Also started visiting MMH for her adoptive mother, since she needed some yarn and pillows.
- Ever since, she became friends with some of the staff.
- Now learns that not everyone means harm and slowly learns to love herself.
Species Lore
- Bat Witches. Witches, who mostly have powerful magic at night and have some Bat features (Like Batears or -wings)
- Can't cast spells or only cast weak spells at daytime.
- This is why they save their magic in items like candles so they can cast magic on daytime as well.
