Bennett was born as a third child in a house where both of his parents neglected and abused their children. His father is an alcoholic and his mother has mental health issues and even though they were once a happy family everything took a dark turn as soon as his oldest sibling went away for college. He left home to live with his grandpa but living together didn't last long because of his peepaw's sudden death. He prefers to think of his family as a fading memory and now lives with a roommate in a bigger city.

He doesn't have a stable job, but gets paid for playing video games and streaming. From time to time he tries to do commissions as well but is pretty self-concious about his drawing abilities.

Ben is a fantastic friend but just doesn't believe that he deserves someone who will love him regardless of him being 'a weirdo' or 'an outcast'. His ex best friends betrayed him so he feels really lonely most of the time. He is trying not to place blame on what caused his loss on himself, but because of his problems with hatred towards himself this gets really hard.
