Halfmoon

Halfmoon is a medium-haired molly with soft, downy fur that droops in wisps. Her ears have the same droopy effect to them, with a small tuft of fur at the tip of each ear. She has off-white fur with black and red-orange calico patches. Half of her face is split into black and calico. She has heterochromatic eyes; one blue, one green. Her paws are delicate, and her nose is a dark brown, almost black.

She is an attentive cat to those worthy of her time, is rather affectionate.

She has a strong mothering instinct, knowing what is required to keep a kit safe and out of harm's way.

+Frugal+
Very adept at 'waste not, want not.' Everything has a use, even if she hasn't thought of it yet.

Halfmoon is crafty and resourceful, and this can make her dangerous.

-Manipulative-
Though she denies it, she's very good at... nudging a cat in the direction she feels they should take. For their own good, of course.

-Dishonest-
Halfmoon has absolutely zero issue lying if it means getting what she wants.

{Kithood}
Born as a love affair between a stray and a HollowClan hunter, she was given the name Halfkit by her mother, for her split face. Her father thought this cruel, and would always refer to her by his own name for her- Blaise. Her father could only see them in limited stints, separated by many suns, as HollowClan was untrusting of outsiders. By about 4 moons, cats in HollowClan were beginning to catch on that Halfkit's mother might not be as loyal as she seems. They stopped making visits to their father, and Halfkit's mother began growing distant to her kits in an attempt to save face. Though her mother's deeds were never fully found out, there was speculation, and in a Clan like HollowClan, it was enough to ruin one's reputation. Halfkit's mom disappeared a few nights before her sixth moon, never to be seen again.

{Apprenticeship}
With no parents to guide her, Halfkit was desperate for any connection to another cat. She was given a mentor by the name of Ridgeheart; an older, patient molly who taught Halfmoon the finer details of being a queen, despite being rough around the edges. She trained hard, looking after kits and doing everything she could to ensure she would not disappear like her mother. This was an incredibly insecure time in Halfmoon's life; every misstep had her afraid of being kicked out, and she felt the adults of the Clan's eyes on her constantly. Only the kits did not judge her. They loved her for her soft pelt, for the bedtime stories she told them, for the kindness she showed them.

{Warriorhood}
Eventually, she was giventhe name of Halfmoon, and reached full-fledged warriorhood. In this newfound responsibility she saw a wonderful opportunity. The Clan would keep her only so long as she proved herself useful; but kits were different. They could grow with fondness of their mother, their family, and defend them with their life. And well, if she was perm-queen... could she not secure her place in the Clan forever by having her many children vouch for her?

So she currently throws herself into her work, making sure to win over as many kits as possible. Some see this as diligence and hard-work: only Halfmoon knows the true investment she's making.
