Penny

Penny is a young faun, who is completely mute. She hasn’t spoken for as long as she can remember, and frankly believes that she forgot how to. It makes her uncomfprtsble when others ask her to speak, so she often is by herself. She lives on her own in a cottage, surrounded by a field of butterflies.

Her family had a hard time understanding her mutism, and therefore doesn’t communicate with her much anymore. She doesn’t mind though, as it gives her more space to breathe without the expectation of being verbal.
