Personality

     Velvet is a very quiet and introverted girl. She will usually prefer only having herself to think about and take care of and places great value on her alone time. She hardly ever speaks when around another, and thinks that talking for long periods of time is a waste of time. Velvet is also very careless when it comes to her own safety, and does risky things without thinking about the possible dangers of said thing beforehand.

     When Betty is around, Velvet feels a strong need to keep her safe at all costs. Although she isn't cautious when it comes to her own safety, Velvet sees Betty's safety as being of the utmost priority, and will willingly defend her no matter what the odds are. Though she doesn't like to show or admit it, Velvet cares very deeply for Betty and enjoys the girl's company very much, as long as she still gets her alone time every so often. Velvet likes how different Betty is from herself, and enjoys being able to consider another point of view than her own every once in a while.

Background

     After waking up in the strange bakery without any memories whatsoever of her life before that moment, Velvet took it upon herself to singlehandedly take care of the situation and regain her memories. She found a knife adorned with a light purple ribbon laying next to her, and took it as a possible means of self defense if she encountered any other lifeforms that were hostile towards her.

     Deciding that it would be best if she somewhat knew how to use her new weapon, Velvet gathered various materials to make a training dummy of sorts. All was going well for the first while, however midway through her 'training', there was an accident that resulted in the loss of her right eye. She attempted to patch it up, but ultimately decided that it would be best if she just let her icing dry on her face and seal up the wound most of the way itself.

     After about an hour, Velvet felt well and brave enough to begin exploring the unknown new bakery in search of some answers. searching for a while to no avail, she began to become a bit discouraged, and climbed up on top of a table to rest and still have full view of her surroundings.

     Only moments after she had reached the top and gotten settled, Velvet saw another orange girl who was about her size prance underneath one of the two chairs pulled up to the table. She made sure to keep a low profile until she heard the scream of the girl, causing Velvet to instinctively rush down and see what the commotion was about. She was met with a goopy pink monster made out of what seemed to be frosting, about to devour the poor girl whole.

     Velvet rushed in to save the unfamiliar girl, finally able to put all of her training to good use. After saving her from the horrendous frosting monster, Velvet held out a hand to the girl to help her get back on her feet.
