Personality

     Betty is a very kind hearted and extroverted girl. She feels much more comfortable and happy when around someone else, and is significantly more on edge when she is all by herself. Betty is also a bit of an overly cautious scaredy-cat at times, especially when it comes to the safety of her friends and loved ones. She seems to often assume that the worst-case scenario will become reality in any remotely dangerous situations, and her own made up scenarios will often scare her more than the actual situation.

     When she is around Velvet, Betty feels far more safe and calm, as she places a great deal of trust in the girl and her combat abilities. When she gets frightened, Betty will usually duck and hide behind Velvet, clutching the other's arm for comfort. Though Velvet isn't nearly as careful as Betty feels she should be, Velvet's contrasting behaviors and beliefs are very refreshing to her and she feels that it is a nice contrast to her own behaviors and beliefs.

Background

     After waking up in the mysterious mansion of a bakery, Betty had no memories of how or why she had ended up there. She was first extremely scared and confused, but had to pull herself together to search for answers and escape. Looking around, she spotted a fork adorned with a red ribbon lying on the countertop a few inches away from her. Betty picked it up, figuring that it could help her get down from the countertop and may come in handy for defending herself if worst came to worst. 

     It took her a good while to climb her way down from the countertop she awoke on, but with time and patience she made it to the tile floor at last. Betty explored for a while, but she couldn't seem to find any clues as to why she was stuck in a mysterious bakery with no memories of why or how she got there. Giving up for the time being, Betty sat down underneath a chair so that she was sheltered from any objects that may fall while she assessed the situation and thought about what to do next.

     Suddenly, she heard some noise behind her, getting louder by the second. Turning around in a panic, Betty's eyes met a pink mass of what appeared go be frosting, towering above her. It had a wide mouth and bright pink eyes, frosting oozing down from the top of its mouth and eyes. As it opened its mouth to swallow her whole, Betty let out a scream and covered her face with her arms.

     Then she heard a sudden slash, and the beast's frosting splattered on her arm. Looking up in a state of shock, she saw a girl with pink and white hair and a knife in hand standing between her and the frosting beast that had tried to attack her, which was now melting into a puddle of pink. The girl with pink and white hair turned around to face Betty, holding out her left hand. After a moment, the mysterious girl who had saved her spoke in a soft tone.

     "... Are you alright?"
