Lyra was born and raised in Zuzu City. Growing up, she always loved when her grandfather visited in the city and regaled her of farm animals and silly little valley happenings.Â
In college she pursued a career in musical theater, always traveling out of town for auditions and gigs. Most of her performances were either during her collegiate years or in various small companies. Lyra gave her best hustle, but unfortunately never had her big break in the competitive industry.
Lyra's grandfather was always her #1 supporter, and news of his death hit her hard. She had always wanted to visit her grandfather's farm before his passing, but scheduling never worked out. Feeling burnt out, she decided then that if she couldn't complete her own dream, then she could honor his...Â
And so began her journey at Pelican Town and a life she didn't know she would love so much.

One of her beloveds. Accidentally chopped down the tree for Abigail's music event, so they got to sit in the rain. Lyra proposed to her the morning of the Dance of the Moonlight Jellies Festival after frantically using a rain totem to make it rain the previous day in order to buy a Mermaid Pendant.

Elliot has become a close friend of Lyra, the duo initially bonding over being non-natives to Pelican Town and their classical piano training. Later she became intrigued by his writing. She is so proud of him for completing his debut mystery novel, Blue Tower.
Once had a series of recurring dreams where Lyra was dating all the bachelors and bachelorettes of Pelican Town at once! And no one batted an eye while she went on numerous dates. Wild. Maybe she should stop staying up so late...
