Mavis is a Fazbear Entertainment Franchisee. She had been aware of the company (and its rumors) for quite awhile
and decided she wanted to try her hand at the business when given the opportunity. She started out using simple
arcade machines and other types of games until she got her first animatronic, who she found outside in the alleyway
beside her store. Its name was Lefty.

She soon discovered that Lefty housed "The Puppet" and that the whole machine was sentient with the spirit of a child
named Charlotte Emily. The two developed a professional relationship, Mavis never left the store and created her own living
quarters in the backrooms, so Charlotte quickly became a companion she was fond of. She ordered in machines from other
locations, using them while she worked on repurposing older models and endoskeletons into her own designs. She went with
a pet-theme that she profited from.

Mavis is quite an unstable person who quickly became possessive and protective of her carefully-crafted business. She would take
any measure to guarantee it thrived, which mostly meant blackmailing those who attempted to file lawsuits against her. She only ended
up hiring two employees, as she didn't trust anyone to run the business as well as she had up until this point. Even though she hired them
as nightguards, she took over that position out of protectiveness and reduced them to everyday employees who clean, cook and
run attractions. The first employee, her teenage neiph Clay, ended up quitting, and the second was hired not too long later.
