they can rely on each other, at least. rickshade's got an impatient streak that gets under backlash's skin, but he bluntly keeps rickshade in check and the two understand there's no hard feelings. when rickshade gets into a fight it's usually backlash that has to break it up; conversely, on the rare occasion backlash gets into a fight, rickshade has his back.

olivia has a fine eye for what will be valuable in market; her taste has rarely failed the crew. backlash respects her and trusts her above judgement above almost everyone else in the crew. backlash often asks her input before making any large decisions, and takes her advice to heart even if he doesn't always follow it.

almost as rash as rickshade, backlash often finds himself having to lecture wild wing. however, the pegasus's medical knowledge is unrivalled, and wild wing has saved the lives of the crew members more times than he can count. he's possibly the most invaluable member of the crew in backlash's eyes.
