Stasis

Born in a dimly-lit laboratory kept away from the public eye, Stasis has lived most of his life as a guinea pig for reasons unknown. Despite his shortcomings, he has managed to escape the grasp of the organization that was responsible for his abominable existence. He now travels about as a bohemian in search of meaning, but his intentions are sketchy at best.

One part mobian, one part... Well, he's not sure what the other part is. Some being from another universe that he can't see. That isn't something he particularly cares about anymore, as he's learned to move away from the past and into the future. Stasis claims to be an enlightened individual, but in reality his harsh upbringing has given him a warped perspective on life, driven to hate societal progression and to lean towards the concept of a complete, worldwide return to roots; whether this was caused by the mobian tests he’s went through or is simply a side effect of whatever plethora of experimental drugs he was doped on is debatable. Regardless, this is less of a passionate dream and more of a passive one, as Stasis is known both famously and infamously by several factions around the world due to his down-to-earth, gentle attitude, wonderful bedside manner with his patients, along with his complete inability to organize his notes and schedule and how his fellow coworkers would just “suddenly” start acting just as lax and lazy as the pharmacological dropout himself. Still, he’ll lend his expertise in modern medicine to those who request without reading any of the fine print. The ram is people-pleasing and sensible to a fault—as long as he’s considered “helpful”, he’ll over-rationalize and work for just about anyone without a third party to get him out of it. The only line he can’t cross is cruelty towards test subjects.
