Cuddles is a Shadow Monster, and a very unique one at that. Due to the fact that Jinx is so solidly in the Lead position, this allowed Cuddles to take on a Monster form regularly, without the risk of going fully feral and losing their humanity. It almost never speaks, preferring to stay almost entirely in the shadows to observe.

Cuddles stayed like this for quite some time before finding Shirley, a girl living with her grandparents that it found very interesting to watch. It started taking up residence in her home, following her around and sometimes protecting her from danger she never saw. Shirley was perfectly happy discovering a shadow monster living in her closet after it slipped up and finally revealed itself to her, and the two became fast friends. Cuddles protects her, and keeps her company during her games. It would do anything to protect this child, even if it means revealing itself to others.
