Aste

Pokemon Legends Arceus OC. Pronounced like ahs-te. Basically a lot of ditto and haunter mashed up into a human-ish shape. Has problems keeping their form stable, so they have to keep wraps around most their body when awake. This is due to Arceus basically last minuting their assignment of making a Hisuian hero and not doing a great job putting Aste together - the 'magic'/whatever doesn't hold well and what keeps them human shape is weak. Can't blink. Can't separate their pinky fingers from their ring fingers nor their middle from their pointer fingers. General unnerving aura, but is very friendly and socialable, to a somewhat uncanny degree. Made to look like an adult, mid 20's. 5'6"ish. Able to speak and understand Pokemon language.

Doesn't take their mask off besides for the hair dresser, so typically their mask mixes with their hair and it looks like its attached (it is). Mask and wrappings helps stabilize their body and somewhat dampens pain.

Ghost-type specialist. Loves to cuddle up with their Hisuian Typhlosion, Fantasma, for body heat and just adores their pal. Fanta is a bit of a service/aid pokemon as their body deteriorates.

Color pallete: purple/white/black/gold.

Hisuian team: Fantasma (H. Typhlosion), Basculegion F, Sneasler, Porygon-Z(Bzod (bsod with z), "Z"), Haunter/Dusknoir?

Modern team: Fantasma (H. Typhlosion), Bzod (Porygon-Z, same one in Hisui through Shenanigans), Jangmo-o (gift/found during Alolan trip), Trubbish (Lottie, gift, has a lil scrunchie :) ), tbd

When brought into existance by Arceus, basically only knew basic human functions for an adult, type match ups, how to Pokemon battle decently, and the urge to help. Everything else they have to figure out on their own.

Gets somewhat entranced and intrigued by Ingo, what with both being so out of place. Emotions Get Big and one of their big drives to help Hisui is to bring him home, ending up at the end of the Hisui adventures striking a deal with Arceus to bring Ingo back to his proper place (some time passed for both Ingo and Emmet when Ingo returns), and Arceus also sends Aste with him. [fic detailing bits of this wip and will be posted i swear to god]

In modern day, when not with the twins and exploring Nimbasa City, prefers to travel and explore, chronicle, and keep over all surveying different places, visiting other regions. Takes particular interest in ruins and abandoned places. Has a soft spot/affinity towards Giratina, originally stemming from the broken statue of them in Mt. Coronet, where Aste begins to offer little offerings to the statue. Felt it unfair Giratina's treatment, tugs at their bleeding heart a bit. Continues to leave offerings at old shrines, abandoned temples, the like when they come across them. Passing by ghost... keeps a big journal of what they find, with sketches and writings.

Before Any Nobles Quelled: (most human) Can't blink, eyes are very reflective. Naturally can't separate their pinky and ring fingers or their pointer and middle fingers from each other (but someone else could do it for them). Understands Pokemon language but can't speak it back. Scar in chest from Alpha Rapidash Impalement Incident ™️ (they were trying to save Rei & Akari from getting hurt -> this incident is the first clue to them and those around them that there's something definitely off about them that's not just vibes)
Kleaver Quelled: No pupils. Limbs can randomly unravel into ghostly ditto-esque substance (this is when Arceus beams a dream transmission into Anthe's brain and Anthe makes the binding wrappings for Aste). Can speak back to Pokemon. Rapidash scar becomes visibly the base for Arceus's ring.
Ursaluna Quelled: Minor eye glow. Pain problems escalate, impedes their progress and works with different folk to figure out pain management skills. Fangs start poking out. First arch of Arceus's ring etched on upper chest. (the scarring and more is being made into a visual timeline)

Arcanine Quelled: Fingers can't be separated by others. Saliva/blood minor poison (ghost/poison typing coming out). Skin starting to look undead, nails darkening and veins begin being more prominent. Any new scars heal purple. Ankles and elbows are beginning to rot away but bindings still wrap as if the flesh remained. First arch of Arceus's ring etched below chest + shoulder scars.
Electrode Quelled: Eye glow easy to see at night, sclera and white of eyes starting to blend together. Fingers starting to fuse and fingers are entirely dark purple, with the rot visible over their whole hand. Hungers more for nightmares than human food. Face visibly looking structurally different (again, visual timeline). Mid torso arch for Arceus's ring.
Avalugg Quelled: Cannot remove mask, eye glow noticeable at any time. Prominent fangs. Hair/ears noticeably similar to the shape of Haunter's horns. Hands entirely rotted purple and two large claws + thumb only. Forearm bones are all that remains with only some pieces of sinew, same with all below their knees. Arceus ring scarring around all remaining major joints (IE neck) that have the rot reaching out from them.

Post-Arceus: i think the meeting of arceus is when arceus is finally able to channel enough of their power into aste to like, 'finish' them. as long as aste has their mask and bindings, they're stable, though still have pain problems. with practice, they can hone in on their ability to purposely destabilize and unravel, and control it, eventually learning to be able to control their ghost abilities and all. this has come with a stark white seal on their back of arceus' ring. just white flesh, not seared or torn, a little bit of a weird texture compared to that around it. arceus can't fix up the previous damage but aste won't goop randomly unless something fucky happens to arceus itself. uses a cane with a knife hidden in it typically. how intense of a pain day it is i determine using a d20.
