Three things before the story starts. 1.) I can’t finish writing anything (due to my small monkey brain.) 2.) All my OC’s are anthro. So it can either be taken as Harry/Kim are anthros or Harry/Kim are humans within a human/anthro world. 3.) Or, You can visualize my OC’s as humanoids.

THIS IS STILL A BIG OL WIP AND IM JUST PUTTING IT HERE TO GET TO IT EASIER.

Cw: Murder/Police corruption/Drug-Alcohol abuse/Hate crimes.

This AU is HarryxKim

After the initial call Harry and Kim had arrived at their destination.

Club stardust, stardust was a newer club in the nightlife scene and it was know for it’s more “unique” patrons. Those who didn’t belong anywhere else could always turn to stardust. It was a safe haven for many groups including the homosexual underground.

The building itself looked nice and well kept, it had a nice shining sign above it’s doorway, a small red rug under the doors and a rope in front where the bouncers would stand. Being a club of this nature stardust had to have at least one bouncer. Some folks would come in and cause absolute chaos threatening the patrons.

But this time something worse actually happened a murder. One of the clubs “dancers” was stabbed inside a private room.

Drama: “We are here sire!”

The flashing sign and intoxicating smells inside where enough to make anyone get a headache just by stepping inside.

Kim pulled out his trusty blue notebook and looked at Harry.

Kim: “Alright detective. As you know this is still a club, so I will be making sure you don’t do anything we’d both regret.”

Electrochemistry: “Now now now Harry boy. You know what kind of place this is, why don’t you get a nice drink and then find something to go with it! Lightning? Yes lightning would mix well.”

Harry shook his head and dismissed the thought.

Harry: “Right, well let’s see what we’re going against.”

Kim nodded his head and they both stepped inside. Off to the left of them was the bar it had a fairly large selection of various spirits on the wall. Off to the right was a seating area with some high barstools surrounding tables and booths more towards the back, and in the front was a small dance floor with some lighting effects going off. Near the bar is a staircase leading up to the second floor, which are where the private rooms are located. The place isn’t as lively as it normally is with the murder and all but give it a few weeks and it’ll be party city yet again.

Pain threshold: “Those lights over there are absolutely blinding! Tearing into your retinas.”

Kim writes a general note of the area in his book.

Kim: “Khm, also Harry I wanted to mention that with your habit of staring it would be best if you refrained from doing so.”

Harry nodded

Conceptualization: “But Harry boy look at them! Look at how they dress, maybe you should take pointers to look as good.”

Espirit de corps: “From a old run down factory building a new officer has introduced himself to captain Pryce, he asks some general questions then surprisingly about you. The captain sits there pondering on the thought and tells him not to worry.”

At this point the smell of liquor and smoke was getting rather strong so you needed to move. Before you can however the bartender notices you, she throws up a wave then makes a gesture for you to come closer.

Both you and Kim look at each other then move towards the bar. The barstools are wooden much like the bar itself but it’s a deep rich dark brown color that in itself is truly stunning much too nice for a place like this.

She looks over at you and smiles.

Bartender: “One moment hun I’ve got a big order to fill!”

She says as she slides a large glass of ice cold beer down the bar to a patron. She then looks over at the two of you.

Alice: “Well hello detectives, my names Alice and I’m the head bartender!”

She points to her chest with a grin.

Alice: “You guys must be here to investigate huh?”

Kim nods

Alice: “Alright, well our security man normally keeps the keys so you’ll need to go and speak with him in his office.”

She picks up some empty glasses and begins to wipe them down.

Kim: “Where is this office exactly?”

Alice: “Oh! Over there!”

She points to the hallway near the booths.

Alice: “Don’t worry about security just tell them your here to investigate and need to talk to Cyber. Cant miss it, his room is the last one at the end of the hall it has a big nameplate!”

After writing in his book Kim raises a hand then gives a subtle nod of respect. Both him and Harry make there way to the hallway, standing there are two bouncers or body guards one.

Physical instrument: “Look at the mass of these men. The muscles on them they must have a strict regimen to follow to look that good.”

Half light: “They are all muscle look at them, you can take them both on in a fight!”

The two body guards look down upon Kim and Harry they almost are ants compared to these two behemoths.

One of them snorts.

Body guard: “And what do you want?”

Half light: “Take him right now Harry he shouldn’t disrespect you like that.”

Kim steps up near one of them.

Kim: “I am officer Kim Kitsuragi, precinct 57. And this is my partner Harry Du Bois, precinct 41. We are here for the investigation and need to talk to Cyber.”

Kim adjusts his glasses on his nose. Harry can tell they don’t scare him.

The other guard snorts and they both step aside. Harry and Kim walk to the end of the hallway and right where the bartender said it would be. A wooden door with a shiny metal nameplate attached.

“Cyber, head of security.”

Kim knocks on the door.

Another tall beefy body guard answers and opens the door.

The two step inside, there in the center of the room is a wooden desk a colorful rug underneath it and behind are some metal filing cabinets some papers lay here and there messily across the desk.

Cyber sits behind it in a black leather desk chair. He goes over one particular piece of paper, he lays a hand across his forehead out of frustration.

The two step up to the desk, Kim clears his throat to catch Cyber’s attention.

Cyber huffs and lays the paper down on his desk with the others.

Cyber: “Yes?”

He asks in a deep voice.

Harry: “We just spoke with the bartender, Alice she said you had keys to the room upstairs?”

Cyber: “Oh, so your the detectives hm? Alright here catch.”

Cyber grabs a key from inside his desk and throws it towards Harry.

Hand-eye coordination [Trivial: Success]: Harry gracefully catches the key out of the air and fires his 9mm finger guns at Cyber Who then rolls his eyes smirks and does it back.

Kim: “Before we go however, you are the head of security yes?”

Cyber puts his hand back on his forehead.

Cyber: “What gave you that idea? It wasn’t the big name plaque outside was it?”

He grumbled. Kim huffed.

Cyber: “Sorry, sorry things have been awful stressful for me lately I’m sure you can understand. But yes, I am head of security around here.”

Empathy: “Oh we also know all too well the stresses of work, cut him some slack.”

Kim: “Khm, anyways do you mind if we ask you some questions?”

Cyber shakes his head.

Cyber: “Sorry, not right at the moment I am absolutely swamped today. But do come back later and I’ll see what I can do. Also before you even ask no. I was not here yesterday.”

Kim writes this new information down.

Kim: “Thank you.”

The two walk out of Cyber’s office and go upstairs to the room the body was found in. It’s relatively messy and hasn’t been cleaned lately, there’s a bed in the middle white sheets but blood soaked into them. Off to one side is a wooden dresser with some paddles and whips laid out on top, a mirror sits above the dresser and to the right of the bed a open door leading into a bathroom. There’s also a small amount of blood trickled on the carpet.

Kim notes the scene in his book.

Kim: “Alright detective what happened here?”

Harry looks confused by the question.

Harry: “Well, by the looks of the blood on the floor our victim was stabbed or possibly hit here.”

Harry stands in front of the bed.

Harry: “Then, they fell onto the bed and bled out.”

Kim: “Not bad detective, I am also noticing a lack of a murder weapon.”

Harry rubs his mutton chops in thought.

Harry: “Well, either someone at the club took it, or our perp hid it. It wouldn’t make sense to run out of a crowded club with a weapon.”

Kim tucks his hands behind his back.

Kim: “The blood would’ve also splattered on our perpetrators clothes how did no one notice that? Unless they strategically changed after.”

Harry continues rubbing his chin.

Harry: “Alright Kim let’s look around first.”

Kim nods.

Harry opens the top draw of the dresser but to his surprise it is quite a collection of “toys” he immediately blushes. Kim over looks his shoulder.

Kim: “Thinking about something detective?”

He laughs to himself, Harry immediately closes the drawer.

Harry: “N-no! I was just looking for evidence!”

Kim smirks turning to look in the bathroom. It’s fairly small just a toilet, sink, a trashcan off to the side and a mirror above the sink, the mirror however is rather large and protrudes off the wall like a medicine cabinet. Kim tugs slightly at the glass moving it to one side. Inside the cabinet are various pill bottles. They are all prescription, the name on them reads: “Aki” The name of the victim. Kim slides the glass back in place, Harry calls out from the bedroom.

Harry: “Found anything yet?”

Kim: “No you?”

Harry: “Not really.”

Then out of the corner of Kim’s eye he spots some articles of clothing in the trashcan and just like they expected some blood across them.

Kim: “Harry, come here.”

Harry goes over to where Kim is standing he looks in the trashcan.

Harry: “Suspects clothes huh? So they did change in the bathroom that’s why no one knew.”

Kim nods.

Kim: “So, you haven’t seen the murder weapon yet?”

Harry shakes his head and frowns.

Kim: “Alright then we will do another sweep over and if we still cannot find it we can go do our initial interviews.”

After some time the murder weapon wasn’t found but the clothing was still a big leap forward.

Harry and Kim then went downstairs back to the bar.

Alice looked over and saw them, she raised her hand and headed over to where they were.

Alice: “Hey there! Need anything?”

Harry nodded his head.

Electrochemistry: “What you need is a drink Harry!”

Harry: “Did you notice anything “weird” yesterday.”

He says the word weird with air quotes. Alice thinks for a moment.

Alice: “No, not really sorry. I hardly pay attention to anyone besides my customers and our regulars.”

Logic: “She didn’t see anything at all. She was too busy that day.”

Harry: “That’s alright, do you know anyone who may have?”

She thinks again for a moment.

Alice: “Well, I’d talk to Lewis or one of our regulars. Maybe Dean or Amell? They come here often.”

Kim chimes in.

Kim: “And where can we find them?”

Alice: “Oh well Lewis is on his break right now but he’s our other bartender he’s really good. As for Dean and her crew? They usually sit at one of the booths.”

Kim nods.

Kim: “Thank you miss.”

She smiles.

Harry and Kim get up from the bar and walk near the booths. The smell of smoke and booze is much stronger over here than at the bar it’s almost impressive.

Electrochemistry: “Oh, I just know one of these people know how to have a good time Harry! Ask them where to get some drugs in this fine establishment.”

The patrons of this club are certainly unique to say the least, the clothing worn is extremely varying with some bright pastels extreme blacks and some can barely be considered clothes if at all. After some asking, the two went to a decent sized table near the back.

There sat four unique individuals. One was wearing spiked collars, a few piercings and a stunning rainbow Mohawk. Another had a smaller yet less impressive Mohawk blood orange in color. The third had a beautiful flowing mane of red hair. And the last was the most tame, her most defining feature where her reddish pink eyes.

Harry and Kim stepped up to their table. All four looked at them.

Harry: “Is one of you Dean or Amell?”

The one with the beautiful red hair spoke.

Amell: “I’m Amell that’s Dean.”

He points to the girl with the red eyes.

Amell: “What do you want from us we’re busy.”

Harry: “You don’t look too busy.”

Harry snorts, Kim gives him a glare.

Kim: “Khm, what my partner here means is that we are here to investigate and we want to ask you some questions.”

They all look at each other.

Amell: “Questions? About what? We didn’t kill that slut.”

Dean: “Amell!”

She gives him a good smack.

Kim sighs.

Kim: “We aren’t accusing you of anything. We just need to know if you saw anything yesterday out of the ordinary.”

Amell: “Nah, we saw some people going in the back rooms but we didn’t pay attention to any of them.”

Dean: “Sorry, there where quite a few yesterday go back there so we didn’t know which one actually did it y’know?”

Kim shakes his head.

Kim: “No it’s quite alright, in the back room that’s where you pay for the rooms upstairs right?”

Dean nods her head.

Kim: “Alright, did you see anyone that stood out?”

???: “There was one.”

The one with the rainbow Mohawk spoke up.

Void: “Just call me Void, but there was one guy who stood out at least to me. You see sometimes we do look to see who goes in the back room because hey I’m single.”

He shrugs and laughs to himself.

Void: “Anyways, he was wearing all black but it wasn’t like everyone else I mean he had like cargo pants and a pretty big coat on, little weird considering it’s warm outside y’know?”

Harry nods and Kim writes this down in his book.

Kim: “Thank you we appreciate it, did you see where he went afterwards?”

Void: “No, actually we didn’t I didn’t even notice someone wearing all black like that coming out.”

Harry: “He actually changed inside the room, threw his clothes in the trashcan.”

Void: “Well shit huh? Gonna be hard to find him that way.”

Harry: “Why did your friend here call the victim a slut?”

He stutters on the word not wanting to say it.

Amell laughs.

Amell: “Have you been to a place like this copper?”

He smirks.

Amell: “When you go back there you buy one of the rooms up there for some “fun times.”

He makes fun times out in air quotes.

Amell: “And poor Aki boy was one of this fine establishments “hosts.” You could say.”

Kim is trying his best not to saying something back to this.

Harry: “Well even so, it doesn’t mean he deserved it.”

He shakes his head.

Harry: “Besides that who are you guys, why are you all here for?”

Amell looks away.

Dean: “We’re a band you could say. Sometimes we even play here.”

She smiles.

Harry: “Is that so?”

Dean: “Yeah, we came here not too long ago after a rehearsal for a new song. It’s going pretty well.”

Harry: “And what kind of music do you play.”

Kim nudges him to stay on track.

Dean: “Oh, mostly rock we like that hard core stuff.”

She’s practically beaming talking about it, she’s proud.

Harry: “I’m more of a disco man myself,.”

Harry grins.

Harry: “But I may have to check you guys out.”

Amell laughs to himself.

Amell: “Sure man.”

By this time Lewis the other bartender switched positions with Alice. She came over to Kim and Harry telling them then, she left and went inside on the the wooden doors in the back room. The two went over to the bar again.

Harry: “So, your Lewis huh?”

Lewis looked up at the two detectives with his bright purple eyes. He looked barely younger than 25.

Lewis: “Y-yes, I am, did you need something?”

Authority: “He’s stuttering because he’s scared of you.”

Harry: “It’s alright, we’d just like to ask you a few questions about yesterday.”

Lewis: “Alright, what about it?”

Perception: He has a few scars across his body, the most noticeable one is across his snout.

Harry: “Did something happen?”

He looks at the markings across Lewis’ small frame.

Lewis lets out a sigh and looks away.

Lewis: “You wouldn’t understand I’m sure.”

Empathy: [Low: failure]: You don’t know what it feels like to be someone else punching bag besides your own.

Kim shoots you a glance he knows where your going with this.

Kim: “Lewis, is it? It’s about your species isn’t it?”

Lewis looks up from cleaning some glasses, he sighs again.

Lewis: “Yes, it is. I’m not sure how you guessed but basically in our lives hybrids are “bad.” And I’m one of them so obviously I get picked on and harassed. Sometimes are better than others sometimes I get beaten and other times threatened with a knife.”

He points to the scar across his nose.

Kim: “I truly am sorry, I do feel your pain to a extent but I can’t imagine what your going through.”

Lewis smirks a bit.

Lewis: “It’s ok, not everyday is like that I do have a nice job and people who care about me. That’s a plus.”

He ponders something for a bit then asks.

Lewis: “Hey, wasn’t it the bartenders job to be the therapist anyways?”

He laughs to himself. The tension in the air has dropped.

Kim: “Khm, back to the questions. Our suspect rented a private room out did you happen to see who it was?”

Lewis puts a hand to his chin in thought.

Lewis: “There was one guy that come out around that time, I saw him coming down the stairs.”

Harry nodded.

Harry: “And what did he look like?”

Lewis: “Hm, he was a little muscular, had brown pants a black belt and a grey tank top I believe. Other than that I’m not sure I didn’t really get a good look at his face.”

Kim writes this down in his book and smiles.

Kim: “Thank you for the assistance.”

Lewis throws a thumbs up and continues to clean more glasses.

Well, Kim thinks we have what the suspect wore and what happened but still no murder weapon in site. Two things that helps us but still nothing very solid yet.

Kim looks over to Harry.

Kim: “You think Cyber is done yet?”

Harry shrugs.

Harry: “Let’s go ask.”

The two headed back in cybers office the paperwork on his desk now much more tidy and sorted.

Cyber: “Welcome back detectives.”

He grins, his teeth look as sharp as razors.

Harry: “Are you finished up?”

Smoke blows out of Cyber’s nose.

Cyber: “Yes, I am just finished up with some paperwork.”

Cyber motions for the two to sit, two chairs are in front of his desk. You both do.

Kim: “Alright, so you said you weren’t here yesterday correct?”

Kim takes a blue pen out of his jacket pockets and opens his notes ready to write down anything.

Cyber: “I figured you’d ask, yes I wasn’t here yesterday I had something to attend to.”

Kim raises his eyebrow.

Kim: “Such as?”

Cyber: “Wildcard and I had topics to discuss about stardust, it was a meeting of sorts you could say. After that he let me take the rest of the day off. Since it wasn’t too busy.”

Harry crossed his legs.

Harry: “And who exactly is wildcard?”

Cyber: “He’s the owner, he has a true vision for this place that’s what makes it unique.”

Harry: “And what did you talk about?”

Cyber snorts.

Cyber: “I can’t be telling you all the business secrets.”

He grins.

Cyber: “But, to give you a rundown it was mainly about my security team and finances.”

Harry: “Finances? Why would you be talking about that?”

Cyber: “You see I’m not just the security guy. I’m more of a right hand man as well, a supervisor if you will.”

Harry nods, Kim writes in his book.

Harry: “What did you do after your meeting?”

Cyber starts to laugh.

Cyber: “Why? Do you think I did it? Well if you really wanted to know I went home to my boyfriend.”

Harry blushes slightly, Kim’s eyes widen.

Cyber: “Didn’t see that one coming did you? If you want to go talk to him about the “legitimacy” of my alibi be my guest.”

Kim: “And where is this apartment of yours?”

Cyber takes a pen out of his desk and writes the apartment address on a sticky note which he hands to Kim.

Cyber: “Here, he should be home right now.”

Harry: “Before we leave, did you see anyone exiting the room when the murder took place?”

Cyber: “Myself personally? No I hardly ever leave this desk. But when I do it’s often almost always for emergencies that can’t wait.”

A newcomer to stardust walks in, he’s tall slender built and he’s wearing a dark black hoodie and a black shirt with black pants on. He’s not here however to party, he’s here for blood.

He steps up to the middle of the club near the dance floor and pulls out a shiny silver pistol.

*Bang*

He shoots one patron in the head dead, they fall from the leather seat onto the floor blood pooling around the body. Mass hysteria ensues, one body guard pulls out his pistol and aims it at the intruder while the other one hits a large red button on the wall behind him.

Suddenly a red siren on the back wall in Cyber’s office starts to glow and blares out an alarm.

Cyber immediately stands up and runs out of his office.

Kim and Harry follow closely behind.

The intruder stands there 2 dead a few more wounded, Lewis was grazed by a rouge bullet on his shoulder he slumped down and grabbed his shoulder in pain hiding behind the bar.

Cyber has his had near a gun on his hip, the intruder looks over to see this but doesn’t care he aims a gun at another patron.

*Bang*

But instead of another patron, the intruder lies on the floor bleeding out from a mortal wound from Cyber’s gun. He slides it back in the holster at his hip.

At this point most of the crowd has ran off and those who haven’t are either wounded or mortally terrified. The four band members in the back are all huddled around each other shaking, they are unscathed.

Cyber’s hands drop to his side he signals for his body guards to follow him and scout the damages.

Kim and Harry look out at the club with a mix of fear and terror.

Kim: “Fucking dammit.”

He growls.

Harry doesn’t quite know what to do he’s in a state of shell shock and panic.

Kim: “Come detective lets look at the bodies then radio in what happened.”

Harry nods following Kim.

Cyber goes behind the bar and sees Lewis holding his shoulder whimpering.

Cyber: “Hey Lew it’s alright ok?”

He gets on one knee and puts his hand on the other shoulder.

Cyber: “Hey, go scout and see if anyone else needs help. I’m gonna talk to Wildcard after this.”

Cyber’s bodyguards leave and look around.

Cyber puts a hand on Lewis’ leg after he notices Lewis shaking.

Cyber: “Shhh, it’s alright Lew.”

Cyber hovers his hand over Lewis’ injured shoulder a light forms around it and the wound disappears completely.

Cyber: “There it’s better now.”

Lewis moves his hand but he starts to breath quickly, Cyber moves next to him and wraps an arm around his neck. To which Lewis wraps his arms around Cybers stomach and he begins to quietly cry.

Cyber just rubs his hand down Lewis’ head.

Kim and Harry walk over to where Cyber and Lewis are sitting.

Kim: “Is he alright?”

Cyber nods.

Kim huffs.

Kim: “You do know we have to report this, and not only that but you killed him.”

He’s more disappointed than upset.

Cyber lets more smoke out of his nose.

Cyber: “Listen detectives, you can say anything you want to about me. But just know this.”

He growls.

Cyber: “I am the goddamn protector of this place and if the fucker was planning on killing yet another one of my patrons he had to die.”

Cyber doesn’t stop petting Lewis.

Cyber: “Motherfuckers, you care more about your rights and shit than lives don’t you!?”

He bares his teeth.

Cyber: “You fucks couldn’t lay a hand on me if you wanted.”

Kim frowns considerably.

Half light: Oh shit Harry, someone is actually fighting back with him.

Harry: “Kim-“

The lieutenant raises a hand to shush Harry.

Kim: “And why is that?”

He says with a harsh tone.

Cyber snarls.

Cyber: “For one I physically wouldn’t let you, and for another have you ever heard of “Hell’s angels?”

Encyclopedia: Hell’s angels is a rather vicious and notorious gang. They aren’t as common as they used to be but they do have high numbers of members. This gang is very underground and isn’t known by the general masses, typically Hell’s angels are those who help out the less fortunate such groups include the homeless, the home sexual underground and those who face racial injustice. They are known for helping these groups however. The way they do so is considered “barbaric.” In nature with gruesome torture being at the top of the list.

Kim: “Wait, you don’t mean? Oh fuck me.”

He huffs.

Cyber: “Oh, I do lieutenant.”

Cyber: “Now, if you don’t mind me I have to speak to the owner.”

He gives Lewis’ head one final rub then pats his fluffy hair and gets up.

Kim: “Wait.”

Cyber turns around to look at them.

Cyber: “What do you need.”

He snarls again.

Kim sighs.

Kim: “May we speak to your boss?”

Cyber laughs.

Cyber: “Sure, why the hell not come with me.”

He said growling.

The three of them went upstairs there was another door at the very end of the hallway with a name plaque as well.

“Wildcard, CEO, Owner.”

The three went inside.

Cyber put his hands behind his back.

Cyber: “Sir.”

Wildcard turned to face him a cigarette in his hand the other on his desk.

This man was interesting to say the least his fashion sense was “Loud and busy.”

Wildcard: “God damn Cyber! What was that show out there?! A absolute bloodbath that’s what!”

Cyber lowers his head.

Cyber: “I am truly sorry sir, the alarm sounded when it was too late. I was inside my office talking to these detectives.”

His eyes glance over at Harry and Kim but not in a good way.

Wildcard: “Fuckin excuses. Your guys know how to sound that alarm did the bouncer not check him?”

Cyber shook his head.

Cyber: “I’m very truly sorry sir. I have noticed he’s been taking bribes lately.”

Kim takes out his notebook and writes this down.

Wildcard puts both hands on his face then slams them down on his desk.

Wildcard: “Fuck me of course he is. Now give me the report.”

Cyber raises his head back up.

Cyber: “Two dead, three counting the infiltrator and a few wounded they are taken care of.”

Kim raises an eyebrow at this “Taken care of line.” But he continues to write in his book.

Wildcard: “So our main man is dead?”

Cyber nods.

Cyber: “Yes, he is dead sir.”

Wildcard turns to face the wall one hand behind his back.

Wildcard: “Good.”

Cyber: “Sir, these detectives here would like a word.”

Wildcard turns back around.

Wildcard: “What about.”

Cyber steps between Harry and Kim leaning against a wall watching them.

The two step up.

Kim: “We would like to ask you some questions about the murder last night. And well the one today as well.”

Wildcard scoffs.

Wildcard: “If your talking about the guy he killed.”

He motions towards Cyber.

Wildcard: “You should forget about that one.”

Kim huffs and clenches his fists. It takes a lot of effort for him to restrain himself.

Kim: “No, not that one.”

He frowns.

Harry chimes in trying to help the mood.

Harry: “Cyber said he was talking to you yesterday.”

Wildcard blows a puff of smoke out.

Wildcard: “Yes, he was with me then I let him have the rest of the day off. It wasn’t too busy more people where here today.”

Harry nods.

Harry: “Did you see the killer yesterday? Or anyone suspicious?”

Wildcard smirks.

Wildcard: “Yes, I did loves. And he looked identical to our infiltrator today but it wasn’t him.”

Harry: “How do you know it wasn’t him? He could’ve came back again.”

Wildcard: “Oh it wasn’t if you saw him you could tell. The first guy may have looked the same but he had a wicked scar down his face.”

He makes a gesture with his finger indicating where the scar was.

Wildcard: “You see, most of the time I’m here I spend it in the booths I’m a “looker” you see.”

He makes air quotes.

Harry looks at Kim he shrugs.

Wildcard: “Alright fine, I like to look for potential men or women for that matter to have some nice alone time with me.”

Wildcard: “Anyways, I was interested in him when I first saw him. Men with scars are extremely hot.”

He points to Cyber and Cyber laughs to himself.

Kim: “Enough of that, did you talk to him at all?”

Wildcard grins.

Wildcard: “Actually dears I wanted to I walked up to him but he pushed me out of the way I thought he was being a dick until now.”

He puffs another plume of smoke into the room.

Harry: “You said “good” when Cyber told you our suspect was dead do you condone that?”

Kim shot Harry a look.

Espirit de corps: He’s actually scared of this gang.

Wildcard grinned wide, his teeth where like Cyber’s but smaller.

Wildcard: “I don’t condone murder loves.”

He pauses.

Wildcard: “But, I do condone those to die who kill for no reason other than simply not liking people.”

Wildcard: “We have been hated for so long our club. That they’ve turned to murder. So goddamn I say why don’t we release the calvary back at them?”

Kim shakes his head.

Kim: “Murder is murder!”

He bites his tongue, that was not supposed to come out.

Wildcard puts both hands on his desk and leans down to look Kim in the eyes.

Sweat forms on the lieutenant’s forehead.

Wildcard: “Is that so?”

Harry’s never saw Kim like this, actually bothered by something and yet there was nothing he could really do and it was eating at him.

Kim stared up at Wildcard it took everything in him to keep his hands from shaking. Cyber moved from his position and moved towards Kim, he grabbed his shirt collar and looked him dead in the eyes. Then blew a plume of smoke from his nose.

Harry instinctively moved his hand towards his holster and looked at both Cyber and Wildcard.

Cyber flashed his fangs at Kim.

Cyber: “And what are you going to do about it pig?”

He growled.

Kim was getting visibly more worried now and looked at Harry.

Wildcard laughed.

Wildcard: “Cyber dear, he’s no foe of ours look at him! Just let him go and don’t do anything stupid.”

Cyber huffed and released Kim’s shirt from his grip. He went back over to the wall and leaned up against it.

Kim wiped the newly formed sweat from his forehead and cleaned his glasses. Harry moved his hand back down to his side.

Wildcard: “Sorry for that he tends to be quite aggressive.”

Kim puts his glasses back on his nose.

Kim: “So I’ve noticed.”

Wildcard: “Anything else you need.”

Kim raised up a hand.

Kim: “No thank you, we have something to take care of but we will be back shortly.”

Wildcard: “Whatever you need detectives.”

And with that Harry and Kim both left the building. Kim motioned for Harry to follow him and they both sat on a bench to rest.

Harry: “So, that back there are you-?”

Before Harry could even finish his statement Kim held up a hand.

Kim: “I’m fine detective.”

Harry: “Kim.”

He stared him down, Kim sighed.

Kim: “Let’s just say Hell’s Angels aren’t someone you want to be enemies with. Drop it Harry I’m fine.”

Perception: He is not.

Harry: “What’s so awful about them? Besides the torture.”

Kim raises an eyebrow.

Kim: “How do you-“

Harry points to his head.

Harry: “My head told me so.”

Kim: “Right, right well. They deem some groups as those to help and others they deem not worthy to help so it’s just prejudice. If you aren’t one of the groups they associate with and you do anything wrong it’s basically over for you.”

He grabs a cigarette out of his jacket pocket and tries to light it but his hands are shaking.

Kim: “Dammit.”

Harry puts a hand on Kim’s shoulder.

Kim looks up and him and smiles.

Harry: I’ll make sure they won’t do anything!”

Half light: Hell yes, they couldn’t even lay a finger on you!”

Kim’s frowns.

Kim: “That would be impossible I’m afraid but thank you anyways Harry.”

Half light: Show them who is the boss Harry boy!

Kim stands up and sighs.

Kim: “We need to go make that report now detective.”

Harry: “Right behind you Kim.”

The two walked down the alleyway to where the Kineema was parked, it wasn’t that far off luckily. Not that it mattered to Harry, he could run laps around Kim and not get tired somehow he truly was a medical marvel.

Kim opened the driver side door and hopped in, he brushed his hand against the dash and smiled slightly. Old familiar territory he thought, It’s nice to be with the Kineema yet again.

Espirit de corps: Not long before this case after Kim transferred he asked precinct 57 very politely to lend him the Kineema.

Drama: He didn’t just “politely ask” he begged and pleaded for that MC.

Kim picked up the radio, satellite office Alice was on the other line.

Alice: “Satellite officer Alice, what do you need?”

She said in her normal tone.

Kim: “Hello Alice, this is Kim Kitsuragi I need to make a report of another crime inside club stardust.”

Alice: “Another?”

Kim sighed.

Kim: “Yes, another. While lieutenant Du Bois and I where investigating a witness there was someone who walked into the club and pulled a gun on a patron inside. Two civilians where killed.”

She covers her mouth and looks away in shock.

Alice: “Alright lieutenant, I will make a report on this for captain Pryce.”

Kim: “Thank you Alice.”

Alice: “Was there anything else you needed detective?”

Kim: “No, that is all.”

*click*

Kim puts his hands on his face and sits there in the Kineema for a moment in thought. There was nothing he could’ve done back there and he hated it.

Espirit de corps: In the old run down factory building satellite officer Alice makes a report of what lieutenant Kim Kitsuragi had just told her. She then stands up and takes it to captain Pryce, he nods and she leaves the room. However captain Pryce skims through the folder and puts it in his desk. This is going to go under the rug he thinks.

Harry went around the driver side door and opened it.

Harry: “Kim are you ok?”

He says out of concern for the lieutenant.

Kim moves his hands and straightens out his posture.

Kim: “Yes, I am fine Harry. Now let’s go interview Cyber’s lover shall we?”

Harry nods and Kim gets out of the Kineema, the two make their way to Cyber’s apartment it’s close by.

They go up a few flights of stairs and knock on a numbered door. Footsteps are heard from inside.

???: “Yes?”

He’s tall, on the slender side with red eyes and a metal right arm.

Kim looks at his arm but his eyes quickly dart away.

Kim: “Hello, I am Kim Kitsuragi and this is my partner Harry Du Bois. We are here to ask you some questions about the murder yesterday evening.”

???: “Alright, come in.”

The apartment was a nice size not too big but not too small either. Off to the left was the kitchen some appliances and a small island, just below that a worn leather couch with a tv in front. Off to the right where two doors presumably to the bedroom and bath room.

He sits on the couch.

???: “Come in, oh by the way I’m Julian.”

He lays a hand to his chest.

Kim and Harry stepped in the room, it reminds Kim of his apartment almost the same room layout. He gets out his notebook.

Kim: “Nice to meet you Julian, we are here mainly to confirm with you that Cyber was absent from stardust yesterday.”

He looks up at Kim.

Julian: “Oh! Yeah he was at a meeting or something.”

He shrugs.

Julian: “I don’t really keep up with his work stuff, but after that he came home said he had the day off.”

Harry: “Have you ever been to stardust?”

Julian: “Yeah, actually it’s a nice place I actually went there yesterday to see Cyber.”

He turns blushing he scratches his neck.

Perception: It’s a nervous habit.

Harry: “You where there yesterday?”

Julian: “Yes! Not for long however it was more during the day.”

Harry: “Did you see the suspect then?”

He describes them.

Julian: “Y’know, now that I think about it I did actually.”

Kim raises an eyebrow.

Kim: “And when exactly did you see him.”

Julian: “Ah, geez I wasn’t really paying attention to the time but maybe around 2 or 3?”

Logic: That was after the murder, he very well could have saw him.

Kim: “So, you said you where there earlier. Do you recall having seen him earlier.

Julian: “Yeah, I did.”

Kim: “And what was he doing?”

Julian looked down.

And motioned for Kim to come closer.

Julian: “We really aren’t supposed to talk about them. But, there’s this I think maybe a gang or mafia or something and sometimes they hang out in stardust I have no idea why. But he was sitting with them and they where giving him money maybe as payment?”

Kim steps back and notes this in his book.

Kim: “That is extremely helpful thank you.”

Julian: “Just don’t tell anybody you heard about it from me they’ll have my head.”

Harry: “But Cyber is part of Hell’s Angels, they wouldn’t do anything to him would they?”

Julian snorts.

Julian: “You must be alright at your job if you figured that out. But your right they wouldn’t touch him, but that doesn’t mean I’m out of the equation.”

He frowns.

Kim: “I see, your like a bargain chip for them.”

Julian: “Exactly, and Cyber’s stupid enough to do anything they’d say to get me back.”

Kim: “Do you know of the names of this gang or perhaps anyone in it?”

Julian: “Me? Hell no I don’t associate with folks like them. But I’ll tell you what Cyber or Wildcard might.”

Kim nods.

Kim: “Thank you for this information.”

Julian: “Oh no problem.”

He waves his hand.Â
