Palestar

Palestar is a tall,lithe tom with light brown fur. He has a pale colourpoint pattern with tearstreak markings and a striped tail. Palestat has darker bands under his eyes and white markings on his tail, muzzle and toes. He also has a star marking on his forehead. Palestar has heterochromia, with his right eye being blue and his left eye being golden.

He has fairly short fur, except for his feathery tail. Palestar has a group of scars on his back and a long, thick scar across his throat. Palestar adorns his fur with pine leaves and has a 'crown' woven from brambles and ivy. Palestar has a pleasant voice and a crisp, pinecone scent.

Palestar is a quiet, calculating tom. He is rarely emotional and often lost in thought, which keeps him distracted. He somewhat doubts his leadership skills and has gained a desire to step down, yet he feels obligated to continue in his leadership role, as he fears that the next leader could be like his predecessor.

When he opens up, he is a hardworking and reliable tom, who values honour. He enjoys spending time with his mate, Poppystrike and longs to spend more time with her. He leaves many of his tasks to his deputy.

Born in the chilling autumn, Palekit and his brother Nightkit grew up doing everything together. They played together, they ate together, they slept together, they were inseperable. Palekit's mother died when he was young, and since then another senior warrior, Brokenmoon, took over as his mother figure.

Palepaw was given Tigerfang as his mentor and fell head over heels for his daughter, Blossompaw. He found any excuse he could to spend time with her, often having long conversations that would end in laughter. Slowly, Tallpaw spent less and less time with Nightpww, leaving him behind. One day, he and Nightpaw had an argument that led to Nightpaw running away. For the moons after, he'd feel guilt for pushing Oakpaw away, and would talk to Blossompaw about it, who tried her best to reassure him.

Soon enough, Palepaw became a warrior under the name, Paleflight. He finally officiated his relationship with Blossomshadow and they became mates. Soon after, a sudden outbreak of greencough occured and the deputy, Hollowcry succumbed to the disease. To everyone's surprise, Ryestar chose Paleflight to be the next deputy. Paleflight later on confronted his father, who admitted to faking a sign from StarClan so that he could become the next deputy.

Paleflight stopped speaking with his father and tried to focus on his new duties. He often felt overwhelmed and tried his best. Eventually, Blossomshadow told Paleflight that she was expectimg kits. He was estatic, until Ryestar declared war on the DriftClan. At first he stood by his leader's side, despite feeling a little stressed out. He even lead a few attacks until the battle on the cliffs, where Ryestat ended up tackling Sparrowstar off the edge, down onto sharp-rocks, killing them both. Paleflight called off the war, seeing it as a sign from StarClan.

Soon after, Blossomshadow ended up having a single kit, Cherrykit, and Palestar tried to be as active in his daughter's life as he could, often leaving most duties to his deputy. In the present, Palestar and Blossomshadow spend a lot of time together and are both proud of Cherrymist now that she has completed her training and become a full warrior.
