But I'll leave behind miles and miles of jagged lines.

Zoro grew up in one of the many outlaw groups in Olsan. He was born with the strong ability to partially take over somebodyโ€™s mind, similar to a parasite, and due to his power he was regarded as an up-and-comer by the higher ups of the group. During his time with the Outlaws, Zoro grew close with another up-and-comer named Singe and their sister Juno. However, as Zoro continued training and stretching his powers beyond what he could handle, a mutation caused a sludge-like substance to seep from his paws, clearly causing him pain. The training continued despite this, and Zoro quickly grew more arrogant and narcissistic. Singe voiced their concerns, but Zoro started to distance himself from them and Juno, along with his remaining family. His path was clear: become the leader of the group and take revenge on the descendants of everyone that wronged the Outlaws hundreds of years ago.

While in their early 20s, Singe began to distance themselves more from the group, and Zoro was quick to notice this. Zoro confronted them and Singe attempted to reveal the truths about their group and all the wrong that they were being trained to do. Zoro snapped at Singe and the two got into a physical fight. Singe ran away from the Outlaws soon after this and Zoro never saw them again, and painted them as a traitor in his mind. This was Zoroโ€™s last straw; and he shut himself off to everyone except Juno.

Over ten years later, Zoro had become one of the most respected and powerful members of his group. He had begun to be a scout, often hiding in trees and debris to find places to attack next. When he found a populated group with many supplies, he reported the news and was told to stayed hidden and watch for anyone who got out. As Zoro saw a black and gray cat run away, he realized he could use the runaway to the Outlaw's advantage. Cornering the cat in an alley, Zoro sent himself into the catโ€™s mind and promised him heโ€™d help find out if any of his family was alive after the attack. Feeling the potential from the cat, Zoro decided to slowly turn him into an image of unmistakeable power and use him to take back his revenge. The only downside? Now heโ€™s stuck with a paranoid cat on a grueling journey, far away from where he called home.
