Personality: Very laid back and easy-going. Tena pretty much gets along with everyone. He would rather back down from a fight and be seen a coward than hurt anyone. Due to his size, not many of the other cubs wanted to play with him, assuming Tena to be stupid. He may not be the fastest thinker, but he wasn't stupid, by any means. He is kind and thoughtful of others, preferring to take care of others before himself.
History: When he was younger, but still an adult, Tena fell in love with a lioness of a neighboring pride. He was allowed to bring Leera home to mate, though Piyo never liked her. After a few years, she produced a tiny yellow cub, naming her Kya. His mate started to be dissatisfied with Tena, though he didn't know why. She started sniping at him and would refuse to let him care for his daughter. She said she was afraid of him; afraid that he would hurt her or Kya. The pride saw claw marks on her side one day and rumors grew from that. The other lionesses began to avoid Tena, wondering if he really was the bully that he looked like.
The day after her parents made a visit, Tena and Leera went out for a morning stroll, leaving Kya with Piyo, who immediately fobbed his niece off on a lioness to watch and wandered off. Tena came home bloody, with claw marks across his right shoulder. Leera's body was never found. The rumors that Leera had started only grew, until no one believed Tena except his little brother, Piyo. He was kicked out of the pride, though Kya was given to another lioness, as she was too young to be a rogue and the lionesses were afraid Tena would kill her too. Only Piyo saw how heartbroken Tena was, though he never spoke a word about what happened.
Since then, Tena and Piyo have wandered through different valleys. Some prides would take them in for a while, but most turned them away because of the claw marks on Tena, and his size. They assumed he was a bully and refused to ran the two young lions off. Piyo grew unhappy and wanted to go home, but Tena wouldn't return the way they'd come.
With Piyo not able to hunt very well, it left Tena to take care of them both. One day, he'd been gored by an antelope and was dying. Piyo ran into Mhalik, who managed to save Tena's life. After Tena had recovered, Piyo wanted to move on, but Mhalik offered to let them stay, which Tena gratefully accepted. The pride has grown slightly with the addition of Duna, but they are just five bachelors. Tena won't speak of his past, and surprisingly, neither does Piyo.
