Apollo

Apollo is truly just a gremlin. They have quite the thirst and knack for trouble, and this can make them kind of unlikeable. If you do actually get to know them, though, you’ll find that they’re a bit more complex than that. The troublemaking is mostly just for attention, rather than out of a true will to harm. They absolutely hate being ignored, and they’ve found it’s easier to cause trouble than to get attention for anything good they do. To those that do give it positive affection and attention rather than reinforcing the troublemaking… Well, you’ll soon find that they can be loyal to their newfound friends and would walk off of the ends of the worlds for them. All the little bug wants is love, man.

If you asked Apollo to recall nearly anything before they were 8 or so, they wouldn’t be able to come up with much. If asked to remember, they’d just shrug and say, “Well, maybe it’s for the best I don’t remember.” All they really know is that at one point or another, their birth parents abandoned them and they were taken in by their adoptive parents after living alone for a while.
That’s… Probably the most interesting thing about their backstory, though. Their attention-seeking gremlin behaviors were always there, but after a while, they mellowed out with it to their parents. Everyone else, on the other hand… Not so much.
Their adoptive parents were so good to them, bless their hearts, but as Apollo grew up, they struggled to figure out a way to fix their behaviors. That’s when this new “school” thing came along, and their parents were intrigued. They told Apollo that if they applied, they would be very proud… And also have a large supply of butter cookies when they get home.
And, well, Apollo would do anything for butter cookies. And making their parents happy, too, but mostly butter cookies.
