Furries

Cave Dwellers/Underground City/Vague-ish Dwarf-ish that are not Dwarfs

Tenvens

Tenvens are a mystery for most people. Nobody knows where they obtained their powers from or why are they the only species to have supernatural powers. But it seems all their power is somehow stored in their horns. Breaking one hinders the Tenven massively, and breaking all of them more often than not results in death.
However, that power came with a massive penalty to the species reproduction, having a very low fertility rate.

While most of the Tenvens may look similar to eachother, their appearance can vary quite a lot; from more human-esque ears to more fluffy animalistic ones, to having muzzles or pawpads.

There are some things they have in common with eachother, tho. They all have horns and they all have black scleras. Most Tenves will have a long, sleek tail typically ending in an arrow.

Most Tenvens have black fur, but in rare cases, white Tenvens have ben seen, however this is fairly rare. While accent colors have ben observed, their base fur color is always either a combination of dark greys and blacks or whites

There is another thing that sets Tenvens appart as their own species. This is related to their powers. They know their names before they are even born.
It is collectively assumed that it is their Divinity who personally assigns them a unique name before their first breath. For this reason, Tenven infants are always given temporary names untill they can speak and say their own name.

Tenvens powers range from telekinesis to invisibility. From time-space distortion to flight

Ghiffies

Small creatures with eyes too large for their skull, tricky and unpredictable
One will never know if they are nice or not.

Ghiffies live in small cave systems or small villages. Their houses are usually very crudely made with stones, wood, mud and other materials.
They are trappers more than hunters and they will only plant potatoes. They dislike every other vegetable or fruit.
They really love mushrooms, tho.

Mimics

Created and enchanted by Furries, Mimics were the very fist species that was created.
They were used as a reliable method of transporting and storing goods without having to pay attention to them all the time, as they were trained to be aggressive unless the owner was the one handling them.
At the time, this was much more reliable than locks and other security measures as long as the mimic was well-trained, altho they were very expensive and time consuming.
A mimic will make a better guardian than any lock and key, but you will need to pay for it, train it and feed it.

Bag and Pouch and similar Mimics were created for the same pourpose, to bite the hands of unsuspecting pickpokets trying to steal from distracted people, these are usually used by nobles who have the patience to train one of these beasts.

They were created with expertise, to be mistaken with actual chests and therefore, an inexpert eye won't be able to tell them apart.

Eventually, some of them were either abandoned, or they scaped, leading to now being able to find mimics in the wild, disguised as treasure chests or other similar items.
They will be aggresive and attack everyone who tries to steal their contents. As a long domesticated carnivore species, some may be able to be tamed or distracted enought with some meat or treats, if the mimic is in a particularly good mood.

Mimics reproduce asexually, using magic to convert certain magic stones stored inside them in pupae, wich then emerges a small baby mimic
They are an invasive species, known to eat whatever enters inside them willingly. From birds and squirrels to little children who though an abandoned, open chest was a good hide-and-seek spot.

Vampires

There are two kinds of vampire

Vampire Bats and Vampires

Vampire Bats are normal furries who just happen to be needing to consume blood

They dont have any special abilities nor superpowers.
Vampire Bats can eat a little bit of normal food, altho they will get an upset stomach if they eat too much. They usually need to consume blood every week or so.
They can, if they are not careful, kill their victim from blood loss. If a vampire bat is not inclined on killing people, they will usually drink more regularly to avoid slipping in and taking too much rather than doing a full meal every time.

Altho Vampire Bats cannot spread or inflict Vampirism, it is believed that they do, wich is one reason they are hunted down in sight and vampire bat infants are usually abandoned, given to the witches for a "cure" or "disposed" of.

Other furries discourage Bats from having kids in fear of one of them ending up being a Vampire Bat

Vampiric Vampires, or simply, Vampires, are furries inflicted with Vampirism

Vampirism is a lethal disease that is transmitted via saliva, all Vampire bites, regardless if they are Vampire Bats or Vampires, will get infected (altho only vampire bites will carry the vampiric infection) if not treated properly.
The disease will need some time to cultivate, usually a week or two, so when at the time of the death, it is ready to re-animate the body.
If a person is bitten, then killed, the disease will not have had time to cultivate, therefore, the person will not turn in to a vampire

Usually, vampires live in colonies, or clans and will accept vampire bats as well, but there are vampires living alone or off the grid

Vampiric Vampires are sensitive to the light, but since Vampire Bats are usually in the hiding, both groups prefer the nighttime to the daylight.
Vampires can get burns very very easily and these burns can lead to their deaths, making traveling in the daylight a dangerous thing if they are not careful enough.
Vampire Bats, on the other hand, can withstand sunlight, but if they are used to a life in the shadows they may not be as adapted as any other furry

Both groups of vampire hunt in similar ways, they can either hunt in groups or solo

When hunting together, if a group of vampires don't mind their victims end up dead, they will usually beat their victims to death with clubs or other weapons that inflict heavy trauma, trying to inflict the less ammount of bleeding possible, so when their victim is dead, they can start drinking from the same person. They will repeat the process as many times are the group needs.

If a group prefers their victims to be alive after the drinking, they will kidnap the victim using an anaesthetic, but if they don't have any at hand, they will silence their victim by any other means they have at their disposition.
Usually anaesthetics are preferred if the vampires have ben using that method for a long period of time as they would have developed a resistance to the drug. This method usually takes more time as the drug has to take in effect on the victim, but the advantage is the silence and the struggle-free meal. Young or newly turned vampires will need some help after their drink, as they have not yet developed a resistance and they will need to start developing it slowly and surely.
Vampires who would like their victims alive can bring antibiotics and desinfectants to treat the wounds, but usually, they are saved for themselves, since medicine is a rare and expensive resource in parts of the continent.

It is said that it is possible for a Vampire Bat to become a Vampiric Vampire Bat, but no sane vampire has tried to infect a vampire bat.
Legends speak of a Vampiric Vampire Bat who was in an endless bloodthirsty state, even drinking from their own vampire subordinates
The Book "Lorgath: The Vampiric Vampire Bat Lord" by Jhazin Smite goes in to as much detail as the world knows about them. It is, however, a very short book and some of the pages may have some... accentuated "flavour", possibly to make it a little longer.
Pictures describe them as an ugly and beasty vampire bat, larger than a normal person, with claws that could crush skulls and long and sharp fangs.
Jhazin claims that Lorgath was the only vampire capable of turning in to a feral bat as well.
Many don't believe such myths, while others do claim Vampiric Vampire Bats will become what Lorgath was

Werebeasts

Werebeasts, or furries inflicted with "The Lunar Curse", are furries who have certain supernatural abilities. One of them being the ability to grow almost half their size almost at will, granting them superstrengh and a variety of other things.
The curse influences emotions, specially the ones under anger. For some reason, Werebeasts tend to be more hot-headed than normal furries if they were pretty emotional pre-curse.
Victims of this curse also describe a need to hunt, to stalk and kill violently their prey. The stalking, the chase... and the kill, that was more rewarding than the meal itself.

Werebeasts, will always need to consume meat regardless if they are in their beastly form or in their regular form.
Because of this, werebeasts will have to be sneaky about it in small "everyone-knows-everyone" villages or if they have friends over.

Some werebeasts will hunt for game, getting their food for free, and buy vegetables from their neighbors or the local market and later throw them someplace.

But their diet is not the only thing that could be suspicious if your village has a werebeast as a neighbor.

When the moon is full, werebeasts are forced to transform in to a more savage, wild form, teeth and claws growing significantly bigger and some may even grow horns or spikes on their body.
On these nights, werebeasts will loose all ability to reason, and the only thing in their mind is the hunt. It could be either deer, the local shepherds sheep or even the shepherd himself.
There are no friends or enemies for a transformed werebeast, just hunting.

But even when they are under the effects of the curse on a full moon night, they seem to recognice werebeasts. And when two or more werebeasts encounter eachother, it can be quite a show.
Depending on the resources avaiable (prey, carcass, possibly other werebeasts) the encounter can either turn in to a bloodshed or  they can start playing between them, much like pet dogs or cats.

If the werebeasts were met while they were transformed, they will vaguely remember eachother, they may not remember what they did, but they will remember the emotions attached to that person,
So if two werebeasts met and had a happy evening playing, goofing around and hunting together, once they meet again on normal ciscumstances, they will feel as if they know eachother since forever and may invite them to share a drink and just talk to eachother. Great friendships often start like this.

On the other hand, if the werebeasts met and didn't get along (and there are survivors), once they met again on normal circumstances, they will immeditately feel as if they were enemies from the day they were born
