Dace Slaughter's Links
Dace has conned his dad into believing a lot of things about him, if only because he knows just how strict Basilio can be. He'd probably call the cops on his own son, so Dace just keeps his lifestyle to himself. He's not very fond of the old man, but he's his father, so he still loves him. He just wishes he took it easier on his little brother.
Basilio is ever so proud of his rough, but efficient son. Dace is one of the few things left in Basilio's life that makes him smile. Dace has a stable job as a businessman, has his own home (but always comes by to visit), a girlfriend (who he's never met), and altogether a stable life. Much better than that other son of his.
Dace is Benedict's older brother (separated by five years), and as such, has made a habit of making fun of him since they were young. He still does so, but in more of a playful way, which he doesn't realize Benedict doesn't pick up on. While he has more, bigger priorities in his life than family nowadays, he still worries about his little brother every once in awhile.
Benedict is Dace's younger sibling (separated by five years), and while they used to be buds- in a way, they've grown distant since the death of their brother Dabney, who was sort of the one who kept the two from going too far at each other. Benedict has grown to resent Dace, particularly his job as a drug dealer, and his habit of poking fun at Benedict, which he does not realize is in jest.
