Geoff Mod was born to a low-class family. Pretty dragons were prized, and everything and everyone else was considered "not dragon enough". Strangely, a dragon did not rule this small kingdom, it was a human. Humans were known for being hostile to dragons, and vice versa, and this was the only dragon kingdom that put a human above themselves. The human really didn't like "ugly" dragons, so they ordered them to either be displayed (not incubated, thus killing the dragon inside) or sent to fight other dragon kingdoms, where they would be used as fodder. "Ugly" dragons were not aloud to express things like culture or religion without others thinking they were stealing it away from the prettier dragons.
Geoff, seeing all this, and how his family protected him by becoming low class, decided to do something good for his community. He set up a secret bar, inviting "ugly" dragons or just general travelers to take refuge from the constant sneering they would get. It was a huge success, and Geoff was hailed a hero by the oppressed. More people, from dragons to monsters, came to the kingdom to meet this guy. The praise was something he loved. He set up events where people pitched ideas to make the bar better, more accessible ect. while taking away the bad stuff. The bar was soon known far and wide, except by most dragons, and the ruler, living in that very kingdom.
