Backstory:

Verse was a normal addison, selling sheet music to whoever passed by for as long as they could remember.
that was until a stranger walked by their usual store site one day.
they wanted to get the person's attention. so they chased after them. ending up in a sort of crack in reality that somehow led out of the cyber dark world.
they survived their fumble with surprisingly few injuries, but they don't know where their home is. so now they're traveling throughout dimensions until they figure out how to get back home.
