Annie
Annie is an immigrant from outer space, whose expectations of Earth were met and exceeded, leading him to settle down here. He loves going out, and has a very large circle of friends, others being irresistible to him while being quite irresistible to others himself. He makes some money performing and hosting at bars and smaller events, as well as working with minor assistance for makeup and fashion fields, but is content with that, and doesn't have any further aspirations to become a legitimate thespian/actor etc, but he wouldn't pass up an opportunity to star in a film. He likes the freedom of the current lifestyle, not bound by schedules and contracts. He has quite an intense personality, and is a "you either hate him or love him" case. He is a bit superficial and vain, and sometimes abuses his likeability to get what he wants. However, he is good at heart, usually with a positive approach and being very caring and attentive in regards to other's feelings.
Origins
Annie's home planet was one of two habitable orbiting a binary star system, tidally locked in its orbit so the habitants lived in constant sunset, as the sunlit side was scorching hot and dark side was freezing. It was uninhabited until the other life-supporting planet in the star system achieved space travel, consequently colonising Annie's planet. The settlers are horribly oppressed by the original society, exploiting them for work and their planet's resources. However, while the existence wasn't all-too miserable, the freedom was limited. Dreams of a revolution were brewing, but Annie had always felt that it was a false hope, the original society being far more technologically advanced. Through signals picked up by the space tech, Annie learns of life in other star systems, and falls for Earth. While the people of his own cities are gloomy and miserable, Annie is extremely sociable and energetic, and he sees himself fitting right in with a vibrant terrestrial city. It would also serve as an escape from the politics, and war, which Annie felt could break out at any moment, and which he wanted no part in. His ticket to Earth is Delta, who is just passing by. They meet at a lakeside outdoor seating, and Annie asks Delta to light his cigarette, Delta being a dragon... Annie learns that Delta has been to Earth, and while their personal opinions of Earth differ, the general idea of it is shared. From there on, they start talking, and become and remain close friends. As Annie loves old military attire from Earth, Delta gifts him a uniform he stole from a museum. It's an old, valuable artifact but Annie walks around with it as if it were any other piece of clothing. Along with this, he crafts badges for Annie's collar and belt, shaped like the insignia for Annie's home planet.
