Born out of wedlock between Blueblood and a Castle worker, Blueblood was left with the baby and mom fled the scene not wanting to get involved in gossip or a relationship with Blueblood.
Blueblood was very unhappy with this and immediately did what he could to distance himself from his own spawn, hiring fully time nannies, daycares and even his own aunts.
However many grew tired of Blueblood flirting or general undesirable personality and would quickly quit.
This left Blueblood in less than a hoof full of months with no choice but to take care of Tiddy Winks himself (and absolutely growing to find his son very adorable and basically his only friend)
After four years of Tiddly Wink in Blueblood life, Trenderhoof showed up. Working for a tabloid for all the hot gossip, originally having shown up to the castle to interview the princesses. Instead quickly got caught up having heard of Blueblood kid and all the mystery around the mother.
Blueblood had no interest in talking to Trenderhoof and give him any information, actively avoiding him.
This became hard for Blueblood to avoid the stallion as his own son often would wander off and talk to Trenderhoof on his own, of course Winks never having any real information to give Trenderhoof. However Trenderhoof also fell pray to the cute babies charm becoming something of friends to one another.
Trenderhoof would end up moving to cantorlot claiming the story was bigger than he realized and he needed all hooves on deck for it, but everyone could see he was spending more time trying to hang out with Blueblood and Tiddly Winks than follow up on the princess interviews.
Years later, Trenderhoof still lives in Cantorlot and there's rumors of seeing him and Blueblood on outings together with Tiddly winks and that their probably dating.
No comment from the stallions but if you asked Winks he would say their both his dads.
Tiddly Winks constantly tries to be involved in the other royal kid's lives but struggles being much younger than the others and often getting left behind.
